I have curly hair (low density) that goes a little past my ears.

I can't seem to get my roots to be clean and get any kind of volume in the roots or otherwise. I always have a ton of gaps between curls and I wake up to a flat, low volume, sometimes sticky mess that takes forever to style somewhat well.

Any help is appreciated, I'm at the end of my rope with my hair lol.

I'm looking for a traveler's style leather notebook that has multiple (preferably 3 or so) built in elastics that is small enough to comfortably fit in my pocket. (ie, isn't too thick and doesn't have a reinforced spine making it stick out more) Also something around 30 dollars or so.

I currently have a wanderings pocket size one that I really like except for the fact that it only has one built in elastic and it's a bit annoying trying to stuff 5 inserts into it. One with more built in would be better for me.

I always, always touch my hair too much. During the day, I'll feel a piece in a slightly different spot and obsessively touch it until it gets all oily and loses its volume. And when I style my hair, I'll get it to a pretty good point (out of my face) and still feel the compulsive need to touch it and keep trying to get it to look better when for the sake of styling it, it's already fine.

Any advice to stop me from being so obsessed with compulsively touching my hair is greatly appreciated, as it ruins perfectly good hair days and wastes a considerable amount of time.

I finally have the server up and running and used a dvd rip to test it out. The download looks fine, identical to the disc, when I play it back on Jellyfin, the picture quality is much lower. How do I make it look the same or close to how it did before I put it into Jellyfin?

I started using Bentonite clay to wash for every other wash. I wash my hair every other day.

I've noticed that when I use bentonite clay, the next day my hair feels kind of weird and dry, not greasy, but not really clean either.

The odd part comes in when I try to remedy this problem by just washing again the next day with the clay again, it turns out much better. I do the same exact thing and it turns out good.

Any ideas as to why this happens are much appreciated, I can't figure it out.

I'm trying to figure out the logistics of routing my home server media to my tv, the only avenue for this (that I can tell) being to use the Xbox.

I'm making a walking stick that has a wider base than I have been able to find a cap for. It's approximately 2inches or about a half inch less if I shave the bark on the end.

I haven't been able to find a spike or any kind of meat ferrule to use. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Before I started nopoo I could (every now and again) tame a front cowlick that would fall forwards and create a gap at the front that looked bad with my deep widows peak. I don't know exactly how I should style it away from my face and or towards my face but still looking decent.
