Very cool but sounds terrible
Wasn't in the market for a new knife but I randomly came across this company, ocean kitchen scotland. Not exactly expensive knifes but I really like what they are doing, making knives out of sea plastic.
Has anyone ever brought one of these before? How are they?
I left a plant on my g plan side cabinet that has left this mark. Whats the best way to fix it
I need a new downpipe for my evo 6 gsr and so far every one i have ordered has had fitment issues because they are all designed around the rs model for some reason. Could someone who has successfully installed a downpipe into the evo 6 gsr please tell me what one they used.
Following on from my post the other day in regards to lenses I was messing around with my cheap pen e-pl1 trying to learn how to use Rawtherapee photo editor when i noticed a load of dead pixels. A pixel remap didn't fix it. Opened the camera up, turns out a load of grit got in and around the sensor, probably from when I was last snowboarding. Doesn't matter i want to learn how to replace a sensor anyway and its only a cheap camera.
But I want a bit of an upgrade. Looking on Ebay I have found an olympus e-m5.2 and an e-m10.3 both for roughly the same price and in excellent conditions with under 3000 shutter counts on both of them and no dead pixels or anything physical outside of minor scratches. What one is arguably the better camera to go for?
somthing about the no pickguard with the wrecked paint from the thumb rest and the grotty neck was just calling me. super sick
These were taken last year on holiday and it was the first time I had actually brought a camera with me snowboarding instead of just taking photos with my phone and I really enjoyed it.
The camera is just some cheap olympus my parents had for years that they gave to me when they didn't want it anymore, I think its a pen PL1 or PL7? I cant remember off the top of my head. Either way I really enjoyed using it and want to get more into it.
Cus i am a big fan of skateboarding and snowboarding in general, and i used to have a vx1000 altho I never used it outside of some small park clips, I really want to get a fisheye lense for my m43.
What are some good m43 fisheyes that wound break the bank when I inevitably fall and break it while snowboarding.
Honestly scared me for a second
I am running cat 6 across my house to have ubiquity access points in each area of my house + a network switch in my small server rack in the garage to have 1 gig ethernet from my NAS to all the computers and other stuff (xbox, TV, cameras ect...). I want to maintain a safe distance of about 8 inches from any twin n earth in my walls to avoid interference.
To maintain 7671 compliance i want to run them within conduit within the safe zones on the walls, my question is how would this go about when going between the ground floor to the first floor? Can I go up to 150mm out from a corner of a room straight up through the wall to the 1st floor as long as it is within the save zones in the room on the first floor?
Reason im doing it this way is because you cant access the wall cavity on one side of my house due to the design of the loft, so to keep it neat i want to use conduit buried in the walls
Hi so i have had this in lye baths before and acid washes. Then coated and baked it in the oven using a bees wax based cast iron conditioner but I still can't for some reason get a nice even finish on the face off it and when cooking in it i get black bits flick up. What am I doing wrong?

My pc is the other side of my house from my wifi hub, I use tp links (the 1300 ones) and it was alright but I think due to the age of my house and it being very hot right now, the speeds were never amazing and I keep getting issues with the tp links randomly failing. I have tried several sockets, and i think its just down to having fluxuating voltage quality.
My question is how is it on the sim based wifi. Is it as good? Any serious issues with it anymore or is it basically the same as coaxial. We dont have fiber down my road yet.

Definitely a few things I still want to change in this room but i am very happy with the progress so far. Especially from where it came from
I am building a new board and need some pedals, I've got like 10 fuzz, distortion and drive pedals, but i need some modulation or other effects in my loop.
The list below are my absolute non movers, and will stay on my board forever:
- boss tuner (self explanatory)
- behringer sf300, because im not spending 400 for a boss fz-2
- a modified proco rat
- Russian big muff
- dod fX75-B, the best stereo flanger on the market and i will die on that hill.
- dod phasor 201
- magic pedals da120 as a pre into the fx loop return, all my other pedals run into it and i dont use the preamp on my amp head at all.
- i also periodically run a lifer pedal in my chain but it normally isn't sat directly on my board but just added onto the end of the chain.
I feel like I need a really good compressor, and maybe some tape delay? I also definitely need a good chorus but i dont wanna go for the mxr.
