Blasphemous - Killing Isidora in 30 Seconds

Blasphemous - Killing Isidora in 30 Seconds

Just sharing this here because I'm quite proud of this one. Took many attempts to try to shave down as many seconds as possible and make every movement/action as efficient as possible. Also needed her to do that exact combination of moves because, otherwise, she spends too long invulnerable. The actual video is 41 seconds but the fight ends at the 30 second mark, with 11 seconds of death animation/victory message. My setup is just stacking as much damage (and prayer/flask drinking speed) as possible, while timing my flasks to run out at the right time to trigger Token of Appreciation for a final burst to finish her off with the remaining Cloistered Ruby projectiles.

If you're struggling with Isidora, Voice of the Dead, since I know most players consider her one of the hardest bosses in the original Blasphemous, just do the fight like this and you pretty much cheese her for the victory, skipping phase 2 entirely where the difficulty of the fight comes from.

Voidwrought - All Bosses Ranked by No Hit Difficulty

This is super niche but I made a video a couple months ago ranking all 15 bosses in Voidwrought by how hard they are to beat without getting hit and I thought I'd share it here. There's also a short analysis of each boss, along with some thoughts on them. Overall, the bosses in Voidwrought are easier than bosses I've encountered in other Metroidvanias and some of them are overly frustrating primarily due to how janky some of the game mechanics are, but I still had fun with them in general. Many of the bosses are rather simplistic but they look pretty cool design wise. Looking forward to seeing what else the developers have in store for the future.

Can someone "sabotage" your videos by sharing on Reddit/Discord?

So, a common opinion I see is that sharing your videos on Reddit or other social sites is a bad idea because most people will only click it and watch a few seconds before closing, tanking the video's average view duration, leading to YouTube thinking its a bad video and stop pushing it.

I have a video where someone must have shared it on Reddit somewhere because it had a huge influx of views (90% of its current views are from external Reddit) but due to this, the AVD has massively tanked from 50% (which it was sitting at for a week) down to 15%.

So, in theory, can't someone just post all your videos on Reddit or Discord to tank your AVD?

Does only audience % matter or is the graph taken into account?

This is a weird question but its relevant to some of my videos. Not sure what's going on but the graph on them is really weird. Like, the audience retention rate is 75% but the graph is heavily skewed. Like, its over 400% at certain parts, so I guess people replaying that part over and over, but then in the last third of the video, its legit 0%.

Which of these five games have the best story?

I haven't played a large-scale open (or semi-open) RPG in awhile and I'm thinking of getting the following:

Dragon Age: Veilguard

Avowed

Crimson Desert

Dragon's Dogma 2

Final Fantasy 16

Can someone who's played all five (or most of them) rank them by story/narrative, lore, world building and character design/development? Not taking into account gameplay, combat, exploration, etc. (just on story elements). For reference, I've played the prequel games too (so all the other Dragon Age games, both Pillars of Eternity games and DD1, along with a handful of FF games).

Edit: It looks like FF16 is all around the winner so can I get more opinions on the other games too? Was gonna be pick up more than one game. Thank you for all your recommendations.

How linear is this game?

I like looping zones in horror games, like RE2 Remake, RE7, and to some degree Silent Hill 2 Remake. Is this game like those where you loop around the same zone while figuring stuff out/finding keys, etc? Or is it more linear like RE3 Remake or Dead Space?

Straight up not getting any suggested/browse impressions no matter what

Its been three months since I had any push from YouTube for suggested/browse impressions and its getting ridiculous. All I ever get is search views (which isn't bad in itself but I would like it if YouTube could push my videos again). Like in the last three months, 70% of my views are from search, with 25% being a mix of external/playlist, and the last 5% being suggested/browse which is highly irregular.

My latest video should be getting a push but its not. Its a speed kill video for a popular boss fight in a fairly popular game, where I break the current world record time on the fight by twice as fast after the game being out for 6 years (because I discovered a new way to do the fight that I've never seen anyone do) and my stats on it are really high. It has 40% CTR and 80% retention but only 20 views after a week and its all search (its a long-form). I know this game isn't dead either because new videos for it coming out still get relatively decent view numbers from other content creators. I'm bias since its my own video but I think its a pretty impressive achievement and with stats like that, I would think that youtube would push it with suggested/browse, but nothing.

How to avoid Isidora's spin attack without parrying?

I'm trying to beat Isidora in a challenge fight without using parrying, without getting hit and without prayers and I'm stuck on her spin attack. It doesn't seem you can dodge through it and due to the radius of her spin, I keep getting hit if I try to jump over it. Does anyone know any other methods without parrying to avoid this attack?

Is there a way to stop what I think is someone purposely tanking my retention?

This may sound paranoid but I think someone is purposely clicking my videos and then leaving after 5 seconds or less. Every day, I usually get around 40-50 views across different videos where they leave after 5 seconds. Then this repeats the next day, usually around the same time. This has legit been happening for weeks now. Analytics say the views are from a subscriber right from channel view.

My videos usually have low views so I think these views have an actual effect on algorithm.

Metroidvania with Boss Rematches and Builds?

I like refighting bosses using different builds and experimenting. Does anyone know which Metroidvanias have a boss rematch mode for refighting individual bosses, ideally with different builds/playstyles?

The only ones I'm aware of are Ender Lilies and Ender Magnolia.

Last Faith has a boss rush mode but not for specific bosses.

Hollow Knight and Nine Sols have boss rematches but not really unique builds/notably different playstyles.

Does magic not scale into NG+?

As the title asks, since NG+ significantly boosts enemy/boss HP, and there's a new/more upgrades in place for weapons to counter that, does magic just do the same damage and there's no way to increase it against the higher HP bosses?

Accidentally making a new public video private, then public back?

I accidentally misclicked and made a new video private. I had it up for about two hours but didn't received any YouTube testing since I had 0 impressons from suggested or browse and the only views I had were from notifications and one search. I immediately made it public again but did I mess it up (the algorithm)?

Anyone see this yet? Just saw the trailer on YouTube and thought it looked pretty good. I’m pretty interested in it now.

No Browse/Suggested Impressions Since May 9

As the title states, I've been having this weird issue where I've received next to no impressions from Browse or Suggested Videos for over a month since May 9, 2026.

I've had my current YouTube channel since January and most videos get anywhere from 500 - 2,000 initial impressions as an initial push from YouTube spread across Browse or Suggested Videos but since May 9, none of my videos since then or ones already out have received any push.

I usually put out out a video every 2-3 days (I do challenge content/skill showcase for gaming so usually these don't require much editing so I can put them out fairly fast) so I've released quite a number of videos since May but none of them have gotten any suggested/browse impressions.

The only impressions I've received over the past month and half are from Search. My videos usually have a lot of work put into SEO so they rank fairly highly and pop up often in Search.

For example, my current impression count looks like this:

Last 28 days:

YouTube Search: Approx. 60% of impressions

External: Approx. 20%

Playlists: Approx. 15%

And the rest is a mix of Browse, Suggested, Channel, Notifications, End Screen, etc.

So my combined browse/suggestions impressions are less than 5% over the course of the last month. According to the impressions tab, less than 5% from YouTube is recommending my content, which is pretty bad.

I have around 16k impressions over the last month and almost all of that is entirely just search, for both old and new videos.

I'm legit confused on how to go about this. Do I just need to take a break and wait awhile? It feels like YouTube has an allotted number of impressions it gives me and I've used them all up.

I'm concerned because I just finished putting together my highest quality video to date where I spent over 30 recording and editing, with full commentary where I do a deep analysis of a game. And I'm concerned with this trend of no impressions that the video will just die because YouTube isn't pushing anything of mine.

Best way to get Duplici Bullets?

I'm thinking of doing an NG+ run using just guns but I imagine I'll need alot of the ammo restoration item. What's the best way to farm large quantities of these? You can't buy them right?

Does using spells point blank count as melee only for challenge run?

So, kinda a weird question but if I use spells like fire ball and soul arrow but point blank (melee weapon range) against an enemy, could I still consider it a melee only run?

Are all moves avoidable in Ariana and the Elder Codex?

I like to do no hit challenges for metroidvania type games and this game caught my eye but just based off of gameplay videos I've seen. it's hard to say if this is the type of game where all moves are avoidable or if its the kinda where there are undodgeable attacks and you're meant to tank and heal it off. Some of the boss fights look pretty hectic.

Can someone who's played and beaten this game confirm if its possible to beat every boss without taking any damage?

Metroidvania with Katanas (as an option)?

So I've played and am aware of katanas in the following metroidvanias where you have build options and multiple weapons/skills:

The Last Faith

Vigil Longest Night

Salt and Sanctuary

Salt and Sacrifice

Death Gambit (although it seems like its restricted to just magic build?)

Ender Magnolia (sort of, doesn't technically have stats)

Does anyone know any others I missed?

People talk about how important the title/thumbnail is but how important is the profile image? I have a ratio of 1 subscriber per approximately 350 views (all longform) and I feel like maybe people aren't subscribing because I don't have a good profile photo.

I'm not just talking about Yasakani, I'm talking about accessories in general. I'm wearing full luck gear and over the course of 10 hours of farming, I legit only found 3 divine accessories. I can go through 2000 pieces of equipment not a single divine accessory. It's ridiculous.
