In the past 2 weeks I've spent a lot of time on zocdoc and psychology today trying to find a therapist. I filter and read their profiles.

I booked an appointment with the first one and then was contacted to submit my insurance and complete a series of documents. The day before the appointment I was told "btw your therapist won't be xyz, it will be abc" I checked their profile and said no and cancel. The Same thing happened 3 times. I am specific about who I want to see.

I find the same issue with therapists on my insurance portal. They all work for a medical center and you can't pick who you want to see. Is this the norm?

We are working with 2 agencies. Two months ago one submitted a candidate which I acknowledged but didn't screened nor declined. A week ago another agency submitted the same candidate and I screened him and moved him forward.

If this candidate gets hired , which agency should be allocated the hiring fee?

This is my second time trying to book therapy with a psychiatrist office and both times they passed me on to a counselor in the office. If it's not medication management, they won't take you. Why is that so?

The prices are really good there but not much variety. Any other suggestions in and around Buffalo?

Now that Computer science degrees are not hot, are student shifting to nursing?

I am fairly close to her and she said she was telling me as a friend.

Not sure what to really do now. This is the reason why I have never been friends with none HR colleagues at any of my previous jobs.

Tonight my son and husband physically fought again. I had to go in the middle and pin down my son then finally take him into another room to de-escalate. This is about the 3rd fight in a year.

Tonight it was different. After I take my son into another room to calm down, we went to the kitchen to get some water and then we headed back upstairs to go to bed. I then noticed a knife in his hand heading to the room where my husband is. Again I had to get him in another room and start counseling and calm him down.

Should I have called the police? What do I do?

Linkedin is essential for recruiters and TA. How do you do it?

I spoke to him about it and he instantly said "hell no".

Do I gently keep encouraging him to do it or give him an ultimatum?

Not all! But enough are still requiring it or it's "preferred".

Right now I feel numb, frustrated and kind of feel like not moving forward. Some of these documents cannot be produced instantly. One of the document they want a letter from my credit union outlining what my "cash secured loan" is secure on, they want this month's bank statement which won't generate until 5/15, they want proof of all the addresses I lived in the past 2 years with documentation showing I have no ownership to them.

Another thing, I got paid from facebook for content creation last year and they want an official cash flow statement from Jan-Apr 2026 because they claim it is a business.

The interview letter said i need to provide sponsors tax returns etc if not already provided. I had already provided those in my initial application in 2023.

Do you think I need to provide the most recent tax returns just in case they might need it?
