I did some “minor” modifications to my 1895 Trapper. With the new stock and hand guard from Midwest Industries. This rifle is even more of a shoulder cannon now that I’ve cut off the excess weight.

Which one are you picking? I couldn’t decide myself so I picked them all up. 🤣

This rifle has been an absolute pleasure to shoot, and it’s become my go-to for range days and hunting. I’ve stretched it out to 1,000 yards on steel, though I keep my hunting shots much closer. Anyone else running a Cross in .308? What loads and optics are you guys having success with?

I installed a Partisan FRT in this thing and it shoots like a beast. I had to upgrade the springs to ILWT +20% and the ILWT adjustable gas block to get maximum performance. Well worth the upgrades. I’ve ordered the GHW Tailhook Mod 1C pistol brace and it’s lan on swapping out the stock pistol brace once it arrives. God only knows why Sig decided to make their pistol brace fully rotate, it gets to be quite a nuisance when going super semi auto.

Running a suppressed Q The Fix in 8.6 BLK for Texas deer and hogs this year.
Most of my hunting opportunities are inside 250 yards, so the cartridge fits my use case pretty well.
Curious how many people here have actually used 8.6 on game and what your experiences have been.

Dried up creek bed in the Texas Hill Country. I can’t figure out what these paw prints belong to. Any ideas?

The internet seems split on 8.6 Blackout, so naturally I bought one.
Q The Fix in 8.6 BLK with a Porq Chop suppressor and Vortex Strike Eagle LPVO.
Whether the cartridge sticks around long term or not, suppressed shooting with this thing is ridiculously fun.

I’m taking my brother on our first ever multi day elk hunt at the end of October. I opted to do a guided hunt the first time and chose Elk Creek Outfitting in Montana as our outfitter. Has anyone on here used their service before? What was your hunting experience like? What should we expect? They have a minimal recommended gear list. Are there other items we should plan on brining?

This rifle is so much fun to shoot. I’m running my hand loaded 300BLK ammo in this video. I’ve been having great success with the 190 SUB-X bullets.

Approved today, I decided to take my 8.6 blackout for a test run today. This thing packs a wallop, on shot #4 you can hear it hit a tree behind the target.

I pulled the trigger on the Q Fix in 8.6 Blackout. I guess I found a new round to reload. The ammo for this is so hard to come by locally.
