Today I got my 18th “only tattoo I’m ever going to get” at Kings Avenue, Long Island. This one, like the 17 before it, was done by Krista.
Is the nikonusa website down, or is it me? I haven't been able to get to it all day.
With the U.S. version on seemingly endless back order, I found a gray market version for nearly 50% off. Is it worth the risk?
Today His Marvin-ness turns 10. He’s been with me for 9 years. And I do mean with me. I never have to wonder “Where’s Marvin?” If he’s not attached to me he’s never far away. Happy Birthday Marvin 🎂🥳
This guy meant business. He was in full musth and was not pleased with our presence. He was 5 yards from our vehicle. The game of chicken was short lived. After about 30 seconds he conceded and went off in search of female companionship. Taken with Nikon Z7 II w/NIKKOR Z 24-120 f/8 1/80 sec ISO 100. First photo at 71mm, second at 48mm. Klaserie Private Reserve, Greater Kruger South Africa May 2026
It’s a rainy Saturday on Memorial Day Weekend. So Stanley decided to have Boxapalooza 🤣 His biggest dilemma is which box next?
What to do on a rainy Memorial Day weekend? I know! have Boxing Day!
I have an Era 100 in my system. The volume is extremely low/week. In order for it to be audible the volume needs to be 85+. Any suggestions as to how I can fix this?
Thanks
They barely leave room for the keyboard. Good thing I don't have any work to do!

This is my second trip to South Africa and finally, on drive #27, we finally encountered a leopard! We followed him for a while and were able to watch him stalk, unsuccessfully, 2 young impala. The stealth is beyond amazing. These were taken in the late stages of dusk with a Nikon z5 II and a 180-600mm.
I’m in the Klaserie Private Game Reserve in South Africa. This morning our guide found 2 mature male lions. Taken Nikon Z 5 II w/180-600mm at 60mm. f/11 1/80 sec, ISO 200
Is it OK to post from Greater Kruger, specifically Klaserie? If so, these are from yesterday and this morning 😀
