It's been good a run. I've had a lot of fun playing with what ended up being a fighter/illusionist.

So people starting saying, oh it's you instead of greetings, I thought I'd cut back on my body count. I snuck out through the castle this time. Well, I invised snuck.

Decided to walk from Chorrel to Leyawiin to gather ingredients and started seeing a lot of deer. it kinda reminded me of early wow playing a wood elf ranger. I'm level 5 playing a ranger/thief.

Random thoughts: I wish this game had a featherfall spell. I keep forgetting to enchant me some gloves. That custom spell is pretty cool. I called it battle time 1. ghost and now wraiths have been a strong choice this run. It's shield and summon wraith. It's almost time to store this gear and put on my stealth set.

Jump on my sword while you can, but he has a hammer. Me and Modryn Oreyn are doing some stuff for the guild, and we walk up on this. I get some shots in, but i'm mostly just watching the chaos. It was a fun moment.

That is what my wife asked me yesterday. I should have just said yes.

So the green smoky stuff coming off is my charm magic. So I guess it looks like rotten egg magic to some people. lol

Trying to post clips and things I'd like to see. I had to cut the intro and extro to get it to fit.

My movement is a little rusty. I'm holding at level 14 until illusion hits 50 so I can invisible. My spell is called GRIP. It's 100% weakness to magic 1 sec. And absorb health 20. He's a breton, and everyone is nice to him. So weird. I picked up that elven blade at Vahtacen. It's pretty nice with an atk of 9.

EDIT: Change drain health to absorb health to be more precise.

On my cleric/ranger shart loves gale run, they had this touching scene. I like how each romance has it's own little thing that makes it special. What are some of yalls little things you like in the game or romance? I still love counter spelling, but not as much, and jumping off high stuff.

Did De'arnese, keep, grave planters, skin murderer, stole the daystr from the lich, robbed the crap out of goresh and was still 100k shy of buying everything. so we low balled some gear, came up 5k short nd then went to spellhold with 1 gold plus loots from Vamps.

Slide 1 close to unlocking my berserker skills, and begin dual wield flail of ages and +2 flail. Strong group. Slow is a death sentence to most. Jaheria is spamming charm to great effect this run.

Slide 2 Good thing i'm not running permadeath. We divided and conquored this whole area. we ran out of healing pots. This slide was a reload. walking up with imp invis on korgan to use daystar backfired here. lol

Slide 3 Went fine. fully charged wand of monster summoning helped, but the summon cap is in effect on this vanilla bg2 rules run.

Slide 4 We ambushed Bohdi with 5 traps 2 entangle.

Slide 5 I respecced Yoshi to fighter and took all his gear except his sword. He got chunked by the vampire ambush. The purple blobs? That's what's left of him. No reload on perma death! Same thing happened to imoen later. i lost the robe of vecna and the Tuigan shortbow from the Copper C.

Wrong slide 6. ran out of maximum shots to share I guess. I wanted to show highlights from sunken city, and the underdark. We lost imoen, but the party is still strong and kicking ass in the underdark. I really am going to miss traps for a while. I was leaning into it pretty hard. imoen was a level 12 thief about to hit level 13 wizard. She was gonna be played gish style and chain backstab/project image. WE lost her trying to get belt of fire giant strenght. A cambion exploded her.

Looks like we're gonna have to tap Jan J when we hit town. might respecc him to bounty/hunter mage instead of an i/t.

I like this clip because it was pretty random. I had saw some holy shit level stuff in my previous runs and realized i should start recording my doings. This was my first clip. After dishonored series runs I went back to bg3 wanting to solo stealth. I did do a Daud Durge redemption run. Here is an arcane archer solo level 5.

For discussion, do you have any killer stealth gaming moments you'd like to share? What do you think would be the best solo stealth experience in a crpg? One source claims WotR, kingmaker, and iwd2/iwd2ee would give the best stealth archer experience. I think tes5 and tes4 belong in the competition.

Baldur's Gate 2 Complete Gog version of original game: Some qol/cosmetics mods. Custom portraits and sounds. no modded npc's but kelsey and keto from Pocketplane group will show up in next run. I'll use lvl1 npcs and Shadowkeeper.

Having a blast now that I have the game running fine in windows 11. I have it on windows x, run as admin, and i installed direct x 9 runtime from microsoft. scane verything you download. I can't use 3d acceleration and i'm running the game at 48 fps. 48 wont break my scripts and it improves walking speed. Ijust crtl J to zip around cleared maps an to save time. I prefer 800x600. I'm using cd tweaks for the old ease of use wiemer mod. pot,arrows,scroll stacking. unique containers, dialogue pauses the game, and some cosmetic tweaks. No rules changes. The game definitely has a different feel than EE.

I somehow got a rod of lordly might so Anomen has a+2 mace, but he's mainl busy doing cleric stuff atm. My party is Gorion's Ward as a zerker9/cleric, Korgan but CN, Jaheria same stats but fighter/totemic druid. Nalia dualed to mage at level 6, Yoshimo, Anomen same stats, tweaked prof, given helm cleric kits. nothing op. Imoen will probably be changed to a swashbuckler/mage. We're a NG, melee heavy party.

Slide 1 highest resolution in basic game. It was ok but caused errors crashes.

Slide 2 stand out of range and use lilcor. This cheese doesn't work in EE as far as I know.

Slide 3 having fun with traps and Yohimos ranged traps. It went seamlessly.

Slide 4 Slow is one of my favorite spells in infinity engine games.

Slide 5 This whole fight went perfect. I had total control the whole time. slow at the perfect moment.

Slide 6 Tired of getting side tracked we're going to rip off Gorash and head to Adventure's Mart for the top notch gear. doing the sell and rebuy wands trick goes a lot faster in og it seems. i got like 100k pretty fast. lol.

Slide 7 Bonus Image and at least very good condition. One of my most favorite possessions.

Steam has more customization options than I realized. Just go to properties.
