New medication‘s prescribed because PCP thinks I am entering perimenopause.
I have had a C-section, endometrial ablation, double pneumonia, pulmonary emboli, and type 2 diabetes, though it is currently under control.
Currently prescribed/ taking Mounjaro, Jardiance, Trintellix, Adderall, Prednisone, Tizanidine (last two are for pain I’m having in my neck and arms) and vitamin D2
I have wanted to make one for years and finally gave it a go with some costume jewelry my Mamaw gave me. Far from perfect but I think it turned out okay!
Little Grey and Sloan? WTAF? The only thing saving it for me right now is Mr Feeny and Cristina’s friendship. If one more main character goes I’m done.
Well no, that’s a lie because I’m hooked now but can someone tell 2012 Shonda to chill bc 2026 me is stressed 😩 lol
So she wants to create a video to play for her family at the party. Please help me with meaningful/easyish questions I can ask her about her life. I will also be making the questions into a book to give to her children when she is no longer with us. 🩷
Im sick of not being capable of holding a conversation without interrupting or oversharing.
Im sick of buying furniture and decorations for my house and not having the motivation or creativity to use them so they just pile up all over the place.
Im sick of making plans when my Adderall has kicked in and I feel like a human for a couple of hours then cancelling at the last minute because I’m stuck to my recliner, doomscrolling with my battery on 2% and my charger two feet away on the floor.
Im tired of missing my family and friends but never having the energy to go visit them.
I’m tired of watching the same 20 mins of a movie over and over or reading the first chapter over and over because I can’t stay focused long enough to finish them yet can’t remember what I already watched/read to continue where I left off.
I’m sick of killing my plants despite really trying.
I’m sick of paying for a gym membership I dont use but not being able to drag myself to the gym to either use it or cancel.
Im sick of hurting myself in the most ridiculous ways because I lack spatial awareness (and having one leg that is shorter doesn’t help)
I’m sick of suddenly becoming so obsessed with one band or musician that they take over my life for 6 months or so and once I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of memorabilia I suddenly wake up one day and no longer care about them and have all this crap laying around. But can I get rid of it? No, because I’m afraid the obsession will return and I’ll just buy it all back!
I’m sick of having the remote in my hand one second then the next second it’s across the room in the refrigerator or somewhere that makes even less sense!
I’m sick of washing my clothes three times before I can remember to put them in the dryer.
I’m sick of buying duplicates because I can’t remember what I’ve already bought, or, going to the store and forgetting the only thing I came for.
I have dozens of notebooks, calendars and planners with no more than five pages used. I have 4 motivational apps, 5 organizing apps, and three calendar apps but couldn’t tell you the passwords to log into them if you paid me.
I’m 44.
FOURTYFREAKINGFOUR.
This cannot be all there is to life- wishing you were better, smarter, had your shit together-er.
Right?!?
I don’t understand why I’m able to find so much information about my great grandparents and even farther back, but can’t find anything on my parents?
Should I feel guilty for making my son (19) in college work?
My son goes to college full-time and works part-time. He has to do a lot of extracurriculars related to school so he doesn't have a lot of time to work so my husband and I give him money very frequently on top of paying his car insurance, his phone bill, for doctors appointments, for medication, and usually gas. He told me that none of his friends have to work while they're in school and gives me an attitude every time I ask him to do anything around the house. If l ask him to feed our dogs, clean his bathroom or empty the dishwasher, etc he'll ask me, "are you not home"? I honestly don't know if I'm in the wrong or not. He works hard at school, gets great grades and goes to work when they actually schedule him. Am I asking too much of him?
