I've been wanting to create a vector version of my artist watermark for a while, so i thought I'd redesign it a bit in the process. My current watermark is on slide 2, and my first (unsuccessful) attempt at redesigning it is on the last slide.
Any feedback on the newest version would really be appreciated!

I have been meaning to change up my messy raster signature for a while, and I wanted to create a logo for my art that could function as a watermark as well
My idea for the design is merge the game-adjacent text with the K-silhouette star to try and encompass my artist name (Kevel_UP)

Styled after the vintage malt shops and diners of 1950’s America. I created this environment for a layout assignment to design a background for a pan shot. The scene shows the store being cleaned right before opening for the day.
Here, for my Wine and Dine project, we've got my character inspired by the Cosmopolitan cocktail!
Her final dress design is based on a 90’s slip dress with a bold shoulder piece (representing the silhouette of a martini glass) and black lace accents with a fire motif (in reference to the flamed orange zest that traditionally garnishes the drink). Her hair is in a bun and decorated with a hair pin to look like a cranberry – the fruit that gives the drink its signature pink hue.
He is a bar owner, a handyman, and is based on the Old Fashioned cocktail.
His design went through many iterations over the course of my project. His most important design features is his silhouette and mustache. I wanted his figure to be reminiscent of the old fashioned style of cocktail glasses - short and wide. His mustache is comically large and represents the orange twist that typically garnishes an Old Fashioned.
Taking reference from historical documentation of England's apothecaries as well as "Mr Fogg’s Apothecary Cocktail Bar" in London, I designed a bar I could use for future illustration projects. One part of a larger project I started working on for my graduation year at university
This is the title/logo I designed a concept art, research, and illustration project that personifies the history, development, and cultural context of cocktails. I would love some pointers on how this design could be tightened up and further refined!
Now that England has custody over Miku thank to beating Norway in the World Cup, I felt it appropriate to make some english miku fanart! I wanted to go a different direction than the other designs I've seen for English miku - rather than a tea-sipping, top-hat-wearing, high class gentleman, my english miku is a beer-drinking, fist-throwing, english football hooligan!
I recently watched through all of Severance and loved the show so much! Over the next few months, I am going to be going through the show and making art of some of my favorite moments. The directing and cinematography of Severance is just incredible, and I think I'll learn a lot from studying the incredible acting and dynamic lighting
Big fan of Irving in this scene - you really get to see how he reveres and slightly fears Lumon and hopes to be seen as a good cog in the machine by the way he looks at Mr. Milchick when he enters the room
I am not super experienced with painting backgrounds, and while I am quite happy with this piece, I feel many aspects could be improved.
A few leading questions:
A class assignment where were tasked with designing a panning background: I chose to mimic Gravity Falls' art style!
An illustrated "A Minecraft Movie" poster created by myself for a class at university.
Backgrounds are always a struggle for me, as well as the minuet details that make expressions
Film still on slide two for reference, and WIP shots on the last two
