Hey all, last night my dad and his girlfriends kids found a baby kitten outside, it was late and we said since it was thrashing around its mom was probably just out hunting, the baby had an umbilical cord at the time. In any case it was midnight, there was nothing we could do to save her even if she was abandoned. Fast forward to this morning, the kitten is still there alive and well, and the kids decide they want to take the kitten home (which is super annoying because I have no clue how to take care of a kitten and these kids probably stole a kitten from their mom, as well as lowered its survival chances by probably 50%)

In any case, i didn't know what to do and the kids woke me at 7 am, so we went to Walmart and got kitten milk replacement as well as a bottle. So, I microwaved some water and put it in a bottle which she seems to enjoy snuggling against, and fed her with the baby bottle about 3ml of kmr (she's 91 grams). I then stimulate her and get her to successfully pee, I could not get her to poop. TURNS OUT, I never cut a hole in the bottle so she was suckling onto the teet of nothing🤦‍♂️. In any case, it's been 2 hours since I've had her, I suspect that she was fed before we got her because the kids swear she pooped, it's definitely time for her to eat, but after suckling on the nothing teet she doesn't want to try again. What should i do?
