Why I become quiet when there are more people

This is something I have been thinking about recently.

I am actually okay when talking with one person. Even if I don't know them very well, after some time I can become comfortable and conversation becomes normal.

But in group conversation I am completely different.

I listen to everyone, I know what is going on in the conversation, sometimes I even have something to say, but I don't say it. I keep waiting for the right moment and then that moment is gone.

And after the conversation I sometimes think "I should have said that".

I don't think it is because I don't like people. I actually like talking with people. Maybe I just think too much before speaking.

Also I am trying to slow down my speaking. I have noticed that when I am talking fast, I don't explain things properly and sometimes I even lose my own point.

For people who are naturally good in group conversations, how do you do it? Do you think before speaking or you just say whatever comes to mind?

Would really appreciate some practical advice rather than "just be confident". I know confidence is important but I want to know how to actually improve it.

Anyone going to the mela at Leisure Valley Park today?

Planning to visit the Mela at Leisure Valley Park today after office. It’s Friday, so thought I’ll go instead of directly going back to my room.

I’m 24M, staying in Sector 48, Gurugram. Non-smoker and non-drinker.

If anyone is also planning to go today and doesn’t mind some company, we can meet there and walk around, check out the food stalls and the mela.

No fixed plan, just looking to spend the evening outside.

DM if you’re going.

Anyone up for Galleria Market this evening?

24M here, working in Gurugram.

I am thinking of going to Galleria Market this evening for some food, coffee and just walking around. Don't really have any fixed plan.

Would be nice if a female around my age is also free and interested in joining.

Nothing complicated, just a casual evening and good conversation. We can decide what to eat/drink after meeting.

If you're interested, DM me. We can talk a little before meeting.

Happy Independence Day

Happy Independence Day

It's already around 2:00 AM. Tomorrow is the weekend and I am just sitting and scrolling Reddit.

I'm currently working in Delhi NCR.

No big story behind this post. Just wanted to make a random post and see who is also awake at this time

Delhi people, what are you doing tomorrow? Any plans or just sleeping till afternoon?

Have a great Independence Day everyone

24M in Gurugram and no plans for the weekend 😭

So tomorrow is weekend and I realised I have absolutely no plan.

24M, working in Gurugram. Looking for a female around my age who wants to hangout somewhere in the city.

Could be:

Coffee

Food

Long walk

Movie

or just randomly exploring Gurugram/Delhi.

I'm a non-smoker, non-drinker and more of a chill conversation + food person.

Would be nice to meet someone new instead of spending another weekend doing nothing.

If you're comfortable, DM me. We can chat a little before meeting.

24M | Uttarakhand | Gurugram | Maybe we can start with a conversation

I thought I'll keep this one simple.

I'm 24 and originally from Uttarakhand. Currently working in Gurugram as a Software Developer. 5'11", Hindu, don't smoke or drink.

I'm not someone who has a very exciting daily life. It's mostly office, gym, learning new things and trying to make good use of my weekends. I like travelling and exploring new places whenever I get the chance.

I'm looking for a girl 21–24 who is interested in something serious. Someone who is comfortable being herself and wants two people to know each other slowly instead of rushing things.

If you're also looking for the same, you can message me.

Even if we don't match, an upvote would be appreciated so the post can reach the right person

Any Pahadis in Gurugram missing ghar ka khana?

24M, Uttarakhand, currently in Gurugram.

Living away from home has made me realise how much I miss simple Pahadi food. Sometimes even dal, bhaat and something homemade sounds better than going to another cafe.

Are there any fellow Pahadis here who have found a good place for Pahadi food in Gurugram?

Or are we all just surviving on whatever is available? 😂

I finally made myself leave the PG. Now what?

24M in Gurugram.

I had no proper weekend plan, kept delaying going out and somehow the whole day passed. Finally came to Vatika Business Park, Sector 48.

Now I'm here with no real plan again. 😂

If anyone is nearby and also has some free time, we can meet and figure out something on the spot. Nothing formal, just a normal Sunday hangout.

If you're interested, DM me.

Sunday in Gurugram hits different when you're living in a PG

24M here, living in Sector 47 Gurugram for work.

Sunday is the only day when there is no office, but somehow I still don't know what to do with the whole day. In PG, there is not much to do after waking up, and going out alone sometimes feels a little boring.

Today I'm thinking of going somewhere in Gurugram in the evening, maybe Cyber Hub, a cafe, a walk, or just finding some new place instead of sitting in my room.

For people who also live here away from home, what do you normally do on Sundays?

Looking for some genuine Gurugram suggestions. Maybe I'll finally make a proper Sunday plan instead of deciding at 7 PM. 😅

Looks like the whole of Gurugram is waterlogged today

Saw this flood hotspot map and honestly, the number of spots is crazy.

Feels like wherever you are in Gurugram, there is a good chance you're dealing with waterlogging.

Which area are you in, and how bad is it there right now?

24M | Uttarakhand | Currently in Gurugram | Looking for someone to grow with

Hi everyone.

I don't know who will read this, but I thought I'll give it one more try.

I'm 24 years old, originally from Uttarakhand and currently working as a Software Developer in Gurugram. I'm 5'11", Hindu, and I don't smoke or drink.

Most of my weekdays are simple—office, gym, studying, and trying to become better than I was yesterday. On weekends, I like exploring new places or just taking a break from the usual routine.

I'm looking for someone between 21 and 24 who is serious about building a relationship. I don't have a long list of expectations. I believe understanding each other, respecting each other, and putting effort into the relationship matter more than anything else.

If you think we might get along, feel free to send me a message with a small introduction about yourself.

And if we're not the right match, an upvote would help this post reach someone who might be.

Thank you for reading. Good luck to everyone here.

I have a simple life. Office on weekdays, gym whenever I can, and I like travelling when I get holidays.

24 [M4R] Gurugram - Looking for someone who wants something real

If you're reading this, thanks for stopping by.

I'm not great at writing these posts, but here's a genuine introduction.

I'm 24, originally from Uttarakhand and currently working in Gurugram as a Software Developer.

A few basics:

Height: 5'11"

Hindu

Brahmin (if it matters)

B.Tech (CSE)

Non-smoker, non-drinker

I enjoy a simple lifestyle. Weekdays are mostly work, weekends are for the gym, travelling, or just taking a break from the routine.

I'm not looking for someone who's perfect. I'd rather meet someone who's honest, kind, and willing to build a relationship one conversation at a time.

If you're between 21 and 24 and looking for something serious that could lead to marriage, I'd be happy to know you.

If this isn't for you, an upvote would help this post reach someone who might be.

Thanks for reading.

An old photo, but still my favourite.

Found this old photo while cleaning my gallery.

These mornings are something I miss after moving to Gurugram. No matter how busy life gets, mountain views like this never get old.

Thought I'd share it here.

u/Klutzy_Election_6223 — 2 months ago

Does Gurugram actually sleep?

It's 12:40 AM and there are still cabs, food deliveries, and lights on everywhere.

What's the latest you've been out in Gurugram, and what were you doing?

I've always felt this city has a completely different vibe after midnight.

Am I cooked, Gurgaon? 😭

24M.

Started with Hinge.

Then Bumble.

Then Tinder.

Then Happn.

Then Aisle.

At this point I'm collecting dating apps instead of dates.

Which one actually works here?

u/Klutzy_Election_6223 — 3 months ago

24M | Gurugram | Why Not?

Dating apps haven't worked out for me, mostly because they feel like everyone is trying to sell the best version of themselves.

So here's the real version.

I'm 24, work in tech, hit the gym regularly, don't smoke or drink, and probably spend too much time planning trips I haven't taken yet.

Looking for someone who's genuine, communicative, and interested in getting to know each other without unnecessary games.

If this somehow reaches the right person, that's awesome. If not, at least I finally made my first post here.
