Picked it up for a handful of euros just for fun because I liked the color.

A new battery, a cleaning, and I managed to fit a strap I had in my stash.

I hadn't noticed the blue on the dial was starting to peel off—let's just say it adds character 🤣

Found at a flea market—cleaned up and a new strap 👍🏻

The internal DAC sounds better than the one in my amplifier (Yamaha). very fast play.

And I get scared on a bike...🤣

Don't forget that these devices are really good for playing old DVDs; on a modern Blu-ray player, the upscaling causes rather unpleasant flickering effects for me, whereas the difference is less noticeable with more recent DVDs.

Have you noticed similar things?

Let me introduce the newest member of the family the little XP170.

the newcomer is in great shape. cleaned inside and out, with a drop of lubricant applied where the original had vanished or dried up.

It loads the disc very quickly and the sound is excellent, the bass boost is useless with my headphones.

I've posted photos of the interior for those interested.

Je poste ce lien sur la vidéo du "10" sur Pierre Lannier un éclairage sympa sur la marque qui reçoit beaucoup de "bashing" sur se sub de manière assez systèmatique, cette vidéo ne fais pas passer la marque pour la meilleure du monde elle montre ce qu'est la marque et montre comment elle fonctionne, à voir je crois.

Je me doute que la marque et le dessin divise les gens, mais elle est assez intéressante à avoir au poignet 🙂

This is the first time I've bought la "Walkman" at a flea market. I didn't know if it worked or not. New belts, a shot of electrical contact cleaner, a little lubricant on the gears, and finally a good general cleaning, and it's good to go! 👍🏻😀
