Removed outter insulation on cable while mowing

While mowing this morning the cable that runs from the house to the pool pump got caught on my blade, it was hidden in grass and I usually pay attention to it but forgot about it. I cut the power at the board immediately. Is this repairable in some way? The copper seems intact, only the insulation on some of the hot wire and some of the outer cable came off. Do I need to replace the whole cable or is there something that can be done?

Great day shore fishing

I usually kayak fish, but just didn't feel like hauling it and all the gear. I shore fished instead in the river closest to my place and caught 7 of these bad boys.

Definitely broke my smallie PB but didn't have a scale.

Programme LogisVert d'Hydro-Québec pour thermopompe

Bonjour à tous, voila notre thermopompe qui ne refroidi plus.

C'est une unité de 12K BTU qui a été installé par l'ancien propriétaire et qui est trop petite pour notre maison. Nous considérons l'échanger pour une unité de 18K.

Est-ce que quelqu'un a de l'expérience avec le programme LogisVert pour les subventions? Est-ce que ça s'applique si ce n'est pas une nouvelle installation et que c'est un échange?

J'essaie de trouver un guide pour comprendre aussi les délais de remboursement ainsi que les critères. Si quelqu'un aurait une idée la dessus ou un lien web.

Pulling the trigger on this speedy

I'm pulling the trigger on this speedy sapphire sandwich I found on Marketplace. The guy selling it will supply the 3 red cards, original box and original receipt. It was purchased in 2022 from a known local AD in my area.

Seller was asking 6500$ but was able to negotiate down to 6200$.

I feel lost, a first in my career.

I'm a lead developer with 10+ years of experience.

My career has always moved naturally and gradually, I've always been interested in what I do but for the past 2 years and more so in the last few months I feel lost and unmotivated.

The tech world and AI specifically are moving so fast that I feel disoriented, as if it's my first time on a boat and I've been thrown into turbulent waters. I am seasick.

Corporate expectations are irrational, the hype is insane and the joy of coding is gone.

Am I alone? How do you cope?

I've had my Wayfarer Gen 2s since they launched and actually was able to get the see through limited edition ones. I got them fitted with prescription lenses.

I want to sell the glasses as I don't use them much and wondering if anyone knows of regular (non-meta) RayBans that would fit the same prescription lenses?
