Prayer for friends
23F. I’m lonely and want some friends. Can someone pray that God sends me some friends?

Several of the jobs I’m applying for require reliable transportation. Does Uber/Lyft count? I don’t have a car.
I volunteered at my university to make sandwiches/food and pack menstrual supplies for the homeless. I wish I would have done it more often or knew about more opportunities to do it. Those people were in need and I feel like I let them down a little bit.
24F and I’m immature. I’ve taken some self reflection and realized its stems from being unhappy and not living my ideal life. How do I cope with this so I can grow up?
What’s exactly the difference between these to programs?
I saw a TikTok of someone saying they were going to commit suicide. I called the nonemergency line which then transferred me to 911. The dispatcher couldn’t do anything because I didn’t have their address or legal name or any information on this individual. Is there anything else I can do?
I need someone to pray for me. My life is a mess and I want God to give me a second chance. A brand new life with new friends, family, and experiences.
I’m not Muslim but I need someone to pray for me. I’m desperate before I kill myself. I need a sign from God that I’ll be okay.
23F. I do not fucking like my mother. I’ve had issues with her for as long as I can remember, so when my father had an affair, I was actually happy. During college, when my father would drop off groceries on the weekends, his mistress was sometimes there. I had Easter dinner with her, and she bought me Christmas and birthday gifts. I lied to my mother about all of it because, to me, it was one of my biggest “fuck yous” to her. I’ll admit it to her on her deathbed.
I was Black and tested for the gifted program in third grade. During the evaluation, they asked me about my interests. For example, they asked what my favorite sport was, and I said soccer. Then they asked if I played on a soccer team. I told them no—that all I really did was go home and watch TV because my family couldn’t afford extracurricular activities.
Needless to say, I wasn’t accepted into the gifted program. I don’t think that conversation alone was the reason I wasn’t admitted, but it’s something that has always stuck with me. Looking back, it seemed like nearly everyone in the program was White and came from families who had the money and resources to participate in sports, clubs, and other enrichment activities. I can’t help but wonder whether socioeconomic differences played a role alongside whatever criteria they used.
23F. I graduated from university in December 2025 with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Psychology (pre-med track) with a minor in Chemistry (3.98 GPA).
Right now, I’m living with my parents and don’t have a job, a car, or any savings. My original plan was to go to medical school, but I’ve realized I don’t really have the motivation to put in the years of work it requires. I also don’t feel passionate about medicine. Even so, I’ve been applying to healthcare jobs because I need an income, and at this point, I simply need to find a job.
Is it normal for the road test to be 5 minutes? I literally circled the parking lot and parked and passed my road test.
I recently graduated with my undergraduate degree as a pre-med student and am 23 years old. I’m looking for healthcare positions in the Atlanta area with employers who are willing to hire and provide on-the-job training. Any recommendations or opportunities would be greatly appreciated!
Does anyone offer driving lessons? I’m trying to get my license.
23F I’ve never had consistent driving lessons. My brother gave me maybe 2–3 lessons after work a couple years ago, and I’ve driven my dad to the grocery store a few times. Last November I had 2 lessons with a professional instructor, and afterward my family told me I was basically ready to get my license.
Then in February, my BIL offered to give me a one-week crash course after work to assess my driving and help clean things up. He ended up telling me I was not ready and that I would get myself killed or someone. He said the inconsistent lessons and people telling me I was ready gave me a false sense of confidence about my actual ability.
At the same time, he said he was proud of me for realizing I still needed practice, and he did say I improved a lot during the week he worked with me.
The problem is I haven’t driven since February because my family still thinks I don’t need more lessons and should “just go get my license.” My BIL is coming back to town for a week and offered to give me 1–2 more lessons. He said I should schedule my driving test immediately after while everything is fresh in my mind, otherwise I might fail.
I interned at another DOJ agency during summer/fall 2025 for my final semester of university and received a Top Secret clearance. Since DEA is also under DOJ, can they transfer the clearance?
I’m wondering if that would allow me to skip or shorten parts of the hiring process like the background investigation, fingerprinting, polygraph, or possibly even the drug test. I assume I’d still have to complete the medical/health exam since that wasn’t required for my previous clearance.
Has anyone here gone through this or transferred from another DOJ agency?
This is a follow-up to a DEA post I made a couple days ago. If you didn’t see it, I’m a former FBI intern and I was asking for advice because I didn’t have transportation to get to the potential job location since it’s over an hour and 15 minutes away from my mother’s house.
Things are starting to work out, though. My father decided he’s willing to take me to the interview, background check, and any other appointments I need for the hiring process. My brother-in-law is also going to give me a quick crash-course driving lesson so I can hopefully get my license soon and potentially move across the country for the job.
So hopefully everything works out.
I’ve been sad for a very long time and I just want someone to pray for me.
Edit: Thank you to everybody who said they would pray for me.
