I’ve been waiting on an item for a while now, at first it was the seller but now it’s been at my local post facility but is stuck on “arrived at facility.” I’ve had something similar happen ages ago but it was lost early on in the shipping process. Hi! I’ve been fixing up my new cpk and at first it didn’t bother me but now that there’s nothing else to do, I can’t get over that her bangs are flattened. It a yarn hair with the hop bangs, Is there any way to best fix it? I was gonna take a metal straw and heat it in warm water to “recurl” them but I’m not sure if it’s the best way….
Hi! I’ve been looking to buy different outfits for my cabbage patch and was wondering if all the 16in clothing is expensive or I’m just looking in the wrong places. I feel the minimum I’m spending is 14 dollars and that’s for a shirt without the pants…
I just bought a dress and bloomers for around 40 bucks— skipping the socks and shoes because these are also a minimum of $12 for the socks and 20 for shoes. I’m wondering if it has to do with her being 16ins because even on the cabbage patch website they have a very limited amount of stuff for them compared to the 20in or preemies.
If they are naturally this expensive, are there any dupes or other types of clothing I could buy instead? I hear they could fit into preemie clothing and sock, I also saw one comment a while ago say American girl doll or baby alive..?
Honestly I was just gonna buy the sewing patterns and make my own, even though my sewing skills are subpar at best😓
Not sure if there are better replacements but the perfume by boy smells called doll skin smells almost identical to the cabbage patch scent, there’s a slight difference— maybe a bit more powdery— I can’t quite put my finger on it… tbh I think they were more trying to replicate Bratz smell given their logo is on the bottle but definitely fits cabbage patches!
I had it recommended to me a while ago and just recently bought my childhood cpk, unfortunately she didn’t have her smell anymore (I mean I expected it) and remembered this perfume. Unfortunately I didn’t think it through till after I washed her with scented detergent so…. Gotta wait for that to wear off
Just thought this would be a nice piece of info some cpk collector would like, wether for their dolls or just themselves
Update on the difference I couldn’t put my finger on: I remember my cabbage patch’s main scent was like a artificial vanilla or cupcake with a lower note of powder but this perfume is reversed more powder, under note artificial sweet.
Hi everyone, I recently bought the cabbage patch girl I had as a kid and she’s not very dirty but she smells rather unpleasant and have a dusty feel, so I was wondering if I can machine wash her or if there is other ways to take care of those issues. I am worried because her hair is pilling a bit already and someone said machine washing may cause more.
I’ve tried watching videos but everyone seems to have differing opinions, to be specific she’s a 84’ coleco with the #2 head mold if that affects anything. Thank you!
one of the biggest fears most of my life revolves around my little brother. I’ve been kept awake at night with the fear something will happen to my parents who are relatively healthy, but have had some severe heart scares and I’d have to fight to keep my little brother. When I was a minor I’ve thought through countless times who I’d hope would take us— what the foster care system is like, and if it would separate us.
When I became an adult there was a bit more security, I’m his closest relative so I would hopefully get him— no family members would fight me on it but I still had the fear I would loose him to the system. Next month he’s officially 18 and the thought of that fear no longer being an issue has made me cry in relief.
So yippee for me!
I’m just curious how others feel about blogilates clothing. When she first started I was a fan, but I keep getting videos of her commenting on dupes or knock offs— more specifically of the pirouette skort.
Maybe it’s because I’m no fashion expert but it looks basic to the point I feel I’ve seen many of shirts and dresses of similar style even before her brand. I get that can be frustrating feeling like your designs were stolen but they seem like something I wore as a kid, actually I feel I had skorts in nearly the exact style.
I’m not saying they aren’t cute but I just think she’s taking the whole “it my design people are stealing it” to seriously.

Hi everyone! I have my very first interview on Friday and was wondering if you can answer questions I have to help me be better prepared, I’m extremely nervous…
it’s for a county position, are slacks and a dress shirt too dressed down? Should I also wear a blazer or switch the slacks for a long pencil skirt? Should I wear heel instead of flats?
should I bring copies of my resume even though they have the one I submitted when applying?
I have two facial piercings, should I wear them as normal to the interview and express I can hide them or do I hide them from the start?
I have a list of questions for the interviewer, feedback would be very much appreciated:
- what does the onboarding and training look like for this position?
- is this a position that can grow with me as I continue my education ? (Not sure if this is appropriate)
- is this a position that someone who works well in a high press work environment would thrive in?
I’m not sure how many questions is considered to many while also enough to seem interested.

Hi everyone, I was gifted this Meowth slab but I already have this specific card and I don’t personally collect slabs. I’m aware of the more well known grading companies and never seen this one. After researching I’ve found it’s a Chinese company and it doesn’t raise the price but maybe a $1 if I’m lucky.
So I was wondering if it’s just better to crack it or leave it as is. I’ve heard cards graded by anything other than psa or the other larger companies might actually make a card harder to sell compared to raw.
Hi there, I just had a full blood panel done at the doctors. I’ve always been low on vitamin D and b12 but I guess all my vitamins levels are on the lower side given my doctor recommended me prenatal vitamins.
I was wondering if a certain brand is better for not actually being pregnant or with my main deficiencies because b12 and vitamin D.
Honestly I’ve never taken supplements beside the flinstone ones from childhood. I have no idea what I’m looking for or what brands to actually trust.
Hi everyone! I’ve recently came across these (what I’m told are acrylic earrings) and loved them.
I’ve heard acrylic isn’t good because it holds bacteria but I was curious if that applies to the bar being metal with just the jem being acrylic or just where the jewelry is fully acrylic, bar and all.
I assume I could wear it for going out, but I was asking in a more ‘all the time’ fashion…
If it’s still a bad idea is there anything safer that offers this similar plastic look?
Hi, I would definitely say I’m an animal lover— any and all animals were always just so cute that I get excited or extra happy meeting them. My sweet girl Wigglebean passed in September and I’m still unable to really move past, which I’ve come to terms with.
I assumed my lack of excitement toward animals was just me grieving— maybe a little jealousy but Recently my parents got a new puppy, Marley. Don’t get me wrong she’s adorable but I’m really struggling to like her more than just the dog I see daily, I even feel a sense of dread looking at her.
I originally was excited for her arrival because I hoped it would get me out of my grief without feeling like I was replacing Wigglebean because Marley isn’t mine, but if anything I feel even worse.
I was curious if this happened for anyone else
