You can get 20% off at Target using a teacher discount to buy an Xbox Series S or X and it’s still on sale. Discounts can be stacked with 5% red card discount and 5% birthday discount.

I got the last Xbox Series X at my store using 20% teacher discount, 5% birthday discount, and 5% red card discount for about $383.

Important Note: You can still get the 20% College Student Discount if not a teacher).🧑‍🏫

You can still get 20% discount +5% red card discount (it’s not exactly 25% off but close enough) and it is still on sale at Target. (You can get an additional 5% if you also get a birthday discount with a grand total of like 28%off)

Only catch is Xbox Series X may be sold out, Xbox Series S 1 TB is not on sale…though you can easily get a series s 512 gb version that is on sale.

Note: You can also get a 20% college discount at Target instead of a 20% teacher discount.

Note: I have both a teacher discount and college student discount but it did not let me combine them in one purchase (though some in the past claimed they were able to).

Does Verizon offer a special one time promotion to those who took the 30 day network drive?

I am currently with T-Mobile and in the middle of a free 30 day network drive with Verizon and service is not much different than T-Mobile. Will Verizon send a special offer like a gift card after the completion of the 30 day trial?

What is the best deal on a new or refurbished Series X?

I have decided I am not going to buy a Series S and looking for a new or refurbished Xbox Series X. Where is the best deal today? I am not interested in taking the risk of buying one on Facebook Marketplace.

All of the retailers are selling refurbished no cheaply than a series x digital for $499.

Anyone Buying a Xbox Series S just to play Gears E-Day?

I currently only own the PS5 Pro bought a couple years and expected Gears E-Day to come to PlayStation. The game I have enjoyed most for years were Halo MP games and Gears of War Horde modes.
I am checking for a used series x but none under $300 and some of those even look kind old. Moreover, still got buy Gears E day maybe for $90 and Gamepass essential maybe $50 annual for an upfront cost of close fo $500 to just play the only 1 game I am really interested in.

So I started to look into a used Xbox Series S but they are going about $200 in good condition but then got to add the cost of Gamepass and gears e day (probably don’t plan on playing anything else on Xbox).

Anyone actually bought a series s or will buy one just to play gears e day who already owns a PlayStation and plans to keep their PlayStation?

Also, is 1080p 60FPS good for online competitive play, which is what I heard how it will play on mp?
I care mostly about horde (not really campaign or mp though that can always change).

Current 500MB ATT Fiber Va Tomorrow 1GB Xfinity Cable Internet Tomorrow

I currently have 500 mb ATT fiber internet for $45.

However, I have Xfinity going to install a coaxial in and get 1GB internet for $50 monthly for 5 years that will be installed tomorrow morning.

I see a lot of people complaining about xfinity but they are offering me 1GB that is double speed that I have now for just $5 more than I am paying now.

I am having seconds and try to have them match Xfinity deal (probably just a small chance).

Anyone have a better experience with Xfinity than ATT Fiber in Chicago area if you have the option of both

No PC or Xbox Console required to play Gears E-Day

I have no interest in buying a Gaming PC nor a new $500 for new Series S and little interest in buying a used Series S for $200. I was frustrated in trying to figure out an affordable way to play Gears. Then, someone reminded me that I could play Gears MP Horde on my smart tv. I had written off getting gamepass on tv years ago because of harsh criticism of significant lag of gaming on a smart tv. Has anyone played call of duty mp on a smart tv? ( I am bringing up COD MP because it is a much more likely game people may be playing on a smart tv).

Walmart has Xbox Series X 1TB for $573 (Bestbuy will price match)

I am only talking to potential new buyers of Xbox Series X who may want to buy one after today’s Xbox Showcase like me.

I bought a PS5 Pro a couple years ago that I barely used and missed one of my favorite games…gears. Now that gears is Xbox console exclusive I just bought it for $573 with price match from Bestbuy (to match Walmart price).

Now I am going to look for someone to buy my ps 5 pro since GameStop is a ripoff.

Anybody switch to USMobile and came back to T-Mobile?

I am on experience more plan with IC with 6 lines in a high tax area. It brings the average price of $42 a line.

Many of you guys have exceptional prices with T-Mobile because of all the free lines, BOGO lines, and still on grandfathered plans that includes taxes and fees that are not available to new customers.

US Mobile is having insane deals on their phone plans. I am still with T-Mobile but also currently on a test drive on US Mobile’s Lightspeed and Darkstar and comparing it to T-Mobile.
Light speed was only a little slower than T-Mobile for 2 days but then it was much slower than tmobile today (I understand usmobile is deprioritized) and do not like it. However, it’s almost 50% cheaper and on the fence of just tolerating it.

Has anyone left to T-Mobile to go to USmobile and then came back?

AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon all have test drives on their network but no US Mobile

AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon all have test drives on their network but no US Mobile unless you actually switch to US Mobile first. I currently have T-Mobile and already one person complaining about T-Mobile network compared to ATT network that I was on a couple months ago. I don’t want to switch to usmobile to test drive and for some reason not happy with it and have to go back to T-Mobile.
Hoping US Mobile will allow potential new customers the ability to test their network without leaving their current provider.

AT&T &More Benefits has already given about $15 in Panera

I have been getting a $3.80 Panera Gift Card from AT&T for 7 weeks for a total value of $26.6 that have gone unused just adding it to my Panera Account.
They rolled a Fanatics Fest Sweepstakes but we know that’s not really a perk.

I rather just get a streaming service credit than a gift card to somewhere I don’t go often. I know It’s still early with new AT&T perks program.

Can you add HBO Max to Tmobile Hulu Disney Hack?

I have Hulu with experience beyond plan and it comes with Hulu. I already read in the past there was some type of hack to get Disney plus for about a dollar but interested in getting HBO Max at a discount. too. Is there a way to add HBO Max to the Hulu -Disney Hack?

I switched 3 lines from AT&T and did not have to pay a down payment but at T-Mobile I do

I never had to put a down payment for phones at AT&T when I upgraded there. Always paid my bills except for medical copays and deductibles which I know hurt my credit score. I now have to put a large $369 down payment if I wanted to upgrade a Galaxy S24 Ultra to an IPhone 17 Pro Max even with a $1100 trade in credit on an experience beyond plan. In this case, I have no plans to upgrade now. But what worries me is that I plan upgrading at least 2 maybe 3 lines to the IPhone 18 Pro Max in about 6 months. It sucks that I am on the most expensive plan and still will have to pay a large down payment on the iPhones. I hope in about 5 months of on time payments will waive the requirement of almost $1500 in down payments across upgrading different lines instead of being forced to use rebate cards just to make a down payment on locked iPhones since the Costco unlocked iPhones are too expensive to buy all at once even with rebate cards. Guess I will try to ask T-Mobile rep if they can lower or waive down payment requirements when those phones come out.

Called T-Mobile Costco hotline and rep gave me details of plans and promos but told him that I am already working with someone. Then, he called me back and said he would give me an IC so I opened a plan last Wednesday.
Contact tforce that I did not get $50 credit for getting T-Mobile credit card and she said it was not offered when I applied but gave a $50 credit because it is available to others.
Finally, contacted Tforce that I opened 3 byod lines and got the $250 rebates but the rebates had increased to $400 rebates for a difference of $450 on 3 lines. She gave me a $450 credit on T-Mobile bill. My experience this time was exceptional instead of disappointment and frustration with my past experiences with them last year.😊

If anyone opened a line earlier this week and just applied for $250 rebate, then contact tforce and they may give you the difference.

I read her on Reddit that T-Mobile credit card was offering a $50 sign up bonus and would help a T-Mobile rep at a store if I signed up with one of them. I have family who work in the difficult roles of retail sales always having to worry about their numbers. I thought I help a retail sales rep sign me up for it so I called a T-Mobile store a couple miles away and the employee said there is no $50 promotion but can help me set up autopay so I declined and signed up and got approved for T-Mobile credit on t life app without $50 bonus.

I logged onto t life app and now is offering a $50 bonus if I apply for T-Mobile credit card…which I obviously cannot because I got approved for one 2 days ago😡! Big slap in the face. I sent a message on x to tforce and hoping they help.

UPDATE:🙂

That is just what I needed, so thank you!

Although this offer is something that just started and was not available at the time you signed up, I am going to go ahead and honor that by placing a credit on your account today. Since you were approved, this gives me some backing on making this out of the box offer for you.

This will make sure you get the full value of the offer we have going. Did you have any questions about this or anything more I can help resolve for you today?

^Ashley
