I lost two of my dogs this year, one in February and another just last month in August. They were only months apart, and it still hurts so much.
I don’t really have a lot of people I can talk to about it, and I think I just want to find someone who gets it. Not really looking for advice or anything deep, I’d just really like to talk to someone who understands what it’s like to love a dog so deeply and then have to live without them.
My birthday was last week, and I didn’t even celebrate. I just wasn’t in the mood for it. Still pretty heavy on the grieving.

Mixed blooms are easily my favorite to work with right now. I tried balancing the softer roses with some bolder colors and trailing texture at the bottom.
