So guys, I recently installed a homemade water tank management system at my house.

In our city, a lot of homes fill their overhead tanks using borewell water, and most people still switch the motor on and off manually. We used to do the same until one time we forgot to turn the motor off before leaving for a holiday. By the time we came back, the tank had overflowed for who knows how long, and a lot of water had been wasted. The front yard (which is shared with several neighboring houses) was flooded as well.

That incident got me thinking, so I put together a simple DIY system that automatically turns the motor on when the tank level is low and turns it off when the tank is full.

It's nothing fancy—just a practical solution to a problem we faced ourselves. I'm curious what you all think. Do you feel something like this would be useful enough for people in our city to buy, or are most people happy with the manual approach?
