Amazing night sky views from the national forest!

Went for a little camping trip last night to enjoy the night sky and captured some amazing photos. These were taken with a honestly pretty crappy android phone camera on long exposure. Forests are soo quiet at night around here!

[University Electrical Engineering 1] Completely stuck on this one - how do you find the equivalent resistance

In order to find the current through ohms law the equivalent resistance needs to be found. Problem is I am completely stuck on how exactly to do that. Can this be broken down to a simple parallel / series circuit? Can a delta to Y conversion help here? Any help is much appreciated.

Trail reccomendations for Northern Arizona?

I am deeply in need of a spontaneus backpacking trip but cant for the life of me find a trail that would be a good overnight trip. I have a trip planned after monsoon season for the humphreys peak loop but all I can find are out and back trips with nothing exciting along the way besides heat exaustion warnings. im particulaly looking at the southern kaibab and coconino national forests but between wild fires and permit requirements ive come up empty. Have you guys done any trips in this range that you would reccomend? Thanks for any help!

new buck to the area with crazy antlers and no fear of people!

He has definetly spent all of his life in the no hunting zones in city limits and shared a 1 way dirt road with 12 children much to my anxiety. Crazy to see as someone used to deer running when in 100 feet from a person

What are these squirrel like animals? [McCall ID]

Short tail and spend more time on the ground than in the trees. What are they?

Rubber boa! [Payette ntnl forest]

Second picture is of the young rubber boa I found in almost the exact same spot a month ago, possibly related snakes. I LOVE finding the US boa species and thought is share this georgous one! If you are looking to find one yourself the best time is in the evenings around 10pm at my latitude in the summer. They are so chill when picked up and I have yet to even get musked on by one. Happy herping!

This deer with twins decided to nurse right in the middle of a childrens camp with 10 kids nearby

although they are super close my camera quality sucks so they appear further. We keep away the bears and cougars so have atleast 3 moms at the camp.

Store clearance section: new fear unlocked

What a wonderful place to put your half eaten donut. Not only is it gross in general but there wont be much clearance section rummaging today for me with gluten crumbs everywhere!

Finally found cheap sour gummy worms labeled gluten free!

Albanese are cool and all but i dont have 9 dollars to spend on a 3 oz bag of them. With trolli being so iffy on saftey im glad to have found a safe option thats a reasonable price ($1.50 for this bag). they taste like trolli but with a softer texture and a citric acid after taste thats not unpleasant.

Rosy boa in the wild!

Absolutley the most chill snake ive ever found in the wild. Didnt even flinch when I picked it up let alone musked. I also found a gopher snake and red racer on this trail! Happy herping everyone!

Smooth greensnake in SW colorado! [San Juan ntl. forest]

Found three snakes on this hike, 2 of which being smooth greensnakes and a common garter snake. TIL their range does extend near the four corners region ofc in their normal moist habitat. I was thrown for a bit of a loop when I found this guy as I was nowhere near the northeast/great lakes where most of their range is. Happy herping this year and stay safe!
