Anyone having Suzuki GSX 8R need advice on buying!

Hi I am planning to buy the Suzuki GSX 8R! Anyone here who owns it can you give a brief review of the sales part because local Suzuki dealers have no idea of it apart from Gixxers. Where did you buy? How much was on road? And any spare parts availability issues? Hows it for Indian roads?Hows the service ? Delivery time after booking etc. Thanks in advance 😇

Are Honda CBR650R and CB650R back for sales in India?

I was exploring the options of Honda India's online finance for booking Honda CB750 Hornet and suddenly these 650 twins pop up in the list out of nowhere. I swear I checked it in the morning once at office ( yes I am distracted!) when these werent there but now when I checked at evening to resume exploring..... suddenly these 2 appeared on select model options........ Needless to say I quickly opted for the CBR650R2ED version ( not sure what 2ED meant) and selected the red grand prix colour. After that the page went to show showrooms near me for finance but then the showroom options do not even apear even after you select 5km,10km,15km or 25km option. But what the hell is going on?? I have heard from Bigwing guys that 650 twins will be restocked in India but............ Honda! dude do not give us hope :( Or am I hallucinating?? What say Honda Fanboys??

Enough is Enough!! Still cannot decide!!

Next week I'm finally taking the leap and buying one of these two bikes:

  • Kawasaki Ninja 500 SE
  • Aprilia RS457

I've reached a point where I have to stop watching YouTube reviews, reading articles, and taking test rides. 😅 I've done all of that, and I'm still stuck between these two.I'm especially looking for input from actual owners. If you've ridden both, even better.I don't really trust most automotive journalists anymore—I feel many reviews end up sounding too similar or influenced. (Maybe an unpopular opinion!)

My priorities (in order):

  • 🔥 Looks and road presence
  • 🏍️ Confidence and fun in the twisties
  • 🔧 Reliability and after-sales service
  • ❤️ Excitement and emotional connection
  • 📈 A bike that still makes me smile after 3–5 years and doesn't get boring

A little about me:

  • 5'9", broad build
  • Weekend rides and highway trips with occasional city use
  • Not looking for a track bike (but who knows), but I love spirited riding on twisty and highway roads
  • I value reliability, but I also want something that feels special every time I open the garage

If you own one of these bikes, what do you love, what do you hate, and if you could go back, would you buy it again?

Looking forward to honest owner feedback. Thanks in advance!

32M | Bhubaneswar | Looking for a Genuine Connection

Hi everyone,

After reading countless posts here and seeing a few success stories, I figured I'd finally take my shot. I'm still a little skeptical about finding someone genuine online, but I guess it's worth trying.

I'm a 32-year-old man from Bhubaneswar, the City of Temples. I come from an upper-middle-class family that values tradition while being open-minded. Professionally, I work with a national non-profit organisation, and I completed my Master's from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).

A little about my family:

  • My mother is a retired Central Government employee.
  • My father is a retired businessman.
  • My younger brother is a lawyer and has recently started his practice.

A little about me:

  • Height: 5'10"
  • Build: A little on the heavier side (working on it!)
  • I'm someone who enjoys a peaceful and balanced life. I value honesty, kindness, and meaningful conversations over grand gestures.
  • One of my biggest hobbies is motorcycles. I love riding on weekends, exploring new roads, and taking the occasional long ride to unwind.
  • I'd also love to have pets someday, so if you're an animal lover, that's definitely a bonus!

I'm looking to meet someone genuine, simple, emotionally mature, and interested in building a relationship at a comfortable pace. I'm not looking to rush into marriage—I'd rather take the time to know each other well and let things grow naturally. I genuinely don't want to waste anyone's time, and I hope to meet someone who feels the same way.

If this resonates with you, I'd be happy to connect. Wishing everyone here the very best in finding their person. 🙂

Bonkers!! Honda India has stopped leading. It's just reacting now.

This is probably going to be unpopular, but as a Honda fan myself, I think it needs to be said.Honda India has gone from being an innovator to simply reacting to whatever the market is already demanding. The CB350 arrived only after Royal Enfield had firmly established the modern-retro 350 segment. It was a better engineered motorcycle in many ways, but it wasn't a bold move—it was Honda responding to a trend.

Now we have the new CB500. Again, instead of bringing something that genuinely moves the segment forward, Honda has launched a retro 500 single that feels like it's entering a space Royal Enfield has already defined. It doesn't scream innovation; it screams "better late than never."Meanwhile, Royal Enfield has moved from 350s to 450s, built a successful 650 twin platform, and is now working towards 750cc twins. Whether you like RE or not, they're taking risks and expanding their lineup. Honda India still feels stuck in the 350cc era.

The XR models are another example. They look promising, but they're arriving after KTM, Hero, Royal Enfield and even BMW have already established themselves in the lightweight ADV space. Timing is everything. Then there's Honda's twin-cylinder strategy. The NX500 is a genuinely excellent motorcycle, but once it's over ₹8 lakh on-road, it becomes difficult to justify when a Versys 650 offers a larger engine, more power and stronger touring credentials for similar money.

No matter how much Honda fanboys defend every launch, the facts don't really change. Constructive criticism isn't hating the brand—it's wanting the brand to do better.I also don't think Shumi was wrong when he criticised Honda India's approach. At the time, many people dismissed his comments as "Honda bashing," but looking at where Honda India stands today, a lot of what he said has aged rather well.Honda is one of the greatest motorcycle manufacturers in the world. That's exactly why the Indian division is so frustrating. We know what Honda is capable of globally, yet Indian enthusiasts continue to get a limited lineup, delayed launches, and motorcycles that are often priced aggressively—even by CBU standards—without offering enough value to justify those prices. Before anyone says I'm a Honda hater: I'm not. I'm a Honda fan. That's precisely why I'm disappointed.

Being a fan doesn't mean defending every decision a company makes. It means appreciating what they do right while calling them out when they fall short.

Honda India can—and should—do much better.

32M, Recovering, Rebuilding, and Wondering If Genuine Love Still Exists

Hi! I'm a 32-year-old man who's been reflecting a lot on relationships and what genuine connection really means. For most of my 20s, I struggled to find meaningful relationships. Looking back, many of them seemed to revolve more around emotional validation or simply not wanting to be alone than around truly choosing each other. My longest relationship lasted six years, but it ended rather abruptly, and my ex got married a couple of years later. That experience changed how I looked at love and trust.

Since then, I've met people who were mostly interested in flings or fleeting attention, and eventually I realized I was constantly trying to be accommodating, often at the expense of myself. So I stopped trying to please everyone and started focusing on rebuilding my own life. It hasn't been easy. Over the years, I've struggled with alcoholism, went through rehab twice, gained weight, and watched both my physical and mental health decline. Right now, I'm taking things one day at a time, focusing on my recovery and health, and getting my career back on track.

These experiences have also left me cautious. I'm not interested in casual relationships, and arranged marriage doesn't feel right for me because I want to build trust and connection naturally. If I'm honest, I'm still afraid of intimacy at times, but I also know I don't want fear to define the rest of my life. I'm not looking for someone to fix me. I'm looking for someone who values honesty, kindness, emotional maturity, and the willingness to build something real—slowly, patiently, and genuinely.

How rare is this colour of special edition of Honda CB350C?

I have a Red Metallic special edition Honda and I rarely see this colour on the streets. I was talking to a Bigwing showroom guy today and he mentioned that this special edition colour production might have stopped. Is it the case?

Guys I have a CB350 and a Xpulse 200 4v . I thoroughly enjoy both the bikes and recently was wondering to get a demo CB300R from Bigwing near my place. I have been reading about HondaBigwing spares and most important CB300R being discontinued. The price I enquired , was almost 1.8 lakhs around. Is it worth the investment. Cause I really wanted that bike in my garage. Really need your suggestions and advise.Or should I wait for next year till Honda launches other may be exciting bikes?

How's the Service Center Experience at KTM Showrooms in Bhubaneswar?

Basically the title.

I'm looking to buy the Adventure 390X but I'm worried about unqualified staff messing up the bike after I buy it.
