Well, did a run to all 4 stores. Hoodies were in and gone in seconds, so my only option was extra small… and I’m medium or large. Not the best hoodies. White with black print (no patches or silver hardware). Some things hit 3 of 4 stores. In Harajuku, scored a Floral Cross ring that fit perfectly on my pointer finger. Others were too big or too small.

Lot of great display, but not for sale (maybe not for me). I’ll do another run Friday and see if I cop anything else.

And one more thing, Tokyo dog tags were display only and they wouldn’t let me take a pic, but they were fucking gorgeous!

So here visiting Japan for work and went to Isetan department store in Shinkuku. Had been eyeing the brand for a bit. Can’t resist a deal though. Brand new from AD in the store, ran be 26k USD after tax and I had to pull the trigger on the PF Tonda GMT in Verazsca. The comfort is unparalleled. The GMT function hiding is quite luxury at its finest. If anyone is in the area, they had a pink dial as well and the new chronograph where the hands hide (only one left).

Better in person than online. Wow

Saw it, inquired, and now picked up. Beautiful color dial. Platinum MicroRotor in the movement. New butterfly clasp with micro adjustment. Love this Moser. Had a great time at Moserland in NYC and will share some other photos of watches that had to look at in a future post.

Washington had little on stock for everything except ladies clothes. Scored the Dagget charm though.

Madison was rocking today. Took home the Dog Tag - Cross and the Scroll Band.

They had Fuck You Spacer Ring, a couple other Dog Tags and Chains. No bracelets. Gold was well stocked for those looking. Was offered a blanket for 1900, but between the dog and a seven year old, it would not stand a chance. Huge line behind me, so likely all gone as I write this.

I asked about this a couple of months ago and was told they can request it from Geneva but they could not predict when it would come. The photos cannot capture the beauty of this. Basically they hollow of the 18k gold dial and fill it with black Grand Feu Enamel (champleve enamel). It’s done by hand and it’s gorgeous. It was a helluva surprise. Onyx on the crown, this piece makes me want a tuxedo 😜.

The other bit of this is when they called me, my SA set it up where I thought I was coming in to do a bio to help with a request. That was a rouse and when they showed me in the display case, I asked if I could try it on now. I was informed it was for me. Still surprised and shocked.

Built the Milky Way. A bit abstract and weird, but cool. Not my favorite. It does hang nicely and bring some color to the home office.

Damn, that was a big build. Sitting next to Rivendell. Need to figure out some longer term placement.

This is nice. Only 20 and they capture that salmon dial so nicely. Too similar to my most recent purchase so I’m skipping. Enjoy

It was on the list, and I swear watches must all ship in at the same time, but when I tried it on in person, it was really great. My pics don’t do justice. Small wristed guy, so 36mm was a better choice.

The now discontinued salmon dial. One remained in Chopard boutique off of 5th Ave NYC. Originally went to see the New Prussian Blue, but I had a lack of salmon dials and wanted this piece. Beautiful in-house movements with great finishing and one of the best micro-rotors in the game. This is an IYKYK piece. Dial is also gorgeous with the guilloche and off centered pattern coming from the name just south of 12:00 versus the usual center. The Lucent steel has hints of a tantalum appearance with blue-ish hues and is more scratch resistant than typical steel. This is a dress watch that wears close on the wrist and is 36.5mm. A truly wonderful addition.

I will probably look into some other pieces. It wears very comfortably and would go hard for a dressy attire day, but somehow works with a t-shirt and jeans.

I’m one of the weird ones who digs ROO as well. So as I looked yesterday, decided to pick up the newer titanium reference. Black ceramic bezel. Comfortable and lightweight. The strap seems a bit different as the rubber is somewhat softer. This is a comfy t-shirt and jeans/shorts summer watch. Anyways, I like it. Totally don’t need it, but don’t need any of them in reality. Anyways sharing in beautiful sunlight. Serial photoshopped out, so not a blemish on the back

They had most things in, but the Neoframe Jumping hour. Here we go…

The Openwork and malachite were my favs. The new ROOs are actually pretty tight. 38mm code is actually a huge improvement. Lighting wasn’t the best.

Passing through Times Square and saw the crowd waiting. Had to take a pic of the new AP X Swatch collab pieces.

Got a me a Dagger Vine Cap and X link bracelet with diamonds.

They had a lot of gold and silver with diamonds. A few cashmere beanies in the back. T-shirt. A plunger and of course the usual scarves, crystal and tons of kids clothes. One dress for the ladies (not sure which one).

So it came in. Kinda funky and weird, but growing on me. Wears comfy as hell. The thickness is there, but not apparent to a big dome front. The topographical dial requires this though and is interesting. I took a side pic to try to show it well. Looks like mountains and canyons sorta.

My first meteorite. Comfy and clean. Love it. 37mm, but my wrists are small, so works.
