Im curious about which absolute stinkers you've heard. One person had a theory that Kharon (the facade of GA) and Jingran knew each other or were related based on both having lamps and staffs.

Im so glad this fraudulent general hasn't been added to the game. I genuinely think his presence would be a detriment to any story he'd be in.

Before people start talking about how he saved Jinzhou and how he beat Ovathrax, he did neither. He lost to a vanguard of Ovathrax in the Outrider Squad Norfall Valley Investigation Logs II, and after the retreat, the vanguard just left. This idiot was unironically feeding Ovathrax a buffet of his own soldiers. His biggest relevance was a trailer and hallucination on a rainy day.

Now I get why some people may believe that GA is a man. After all, the first interaction we had with them they appeared as Kharon. The thing with the Grand Architect is they are a shape shifter, and we know Kharon is just a form they took.

Outside of Kharon, iirc, the Grand Architect has only ever been referred to as "they" or "she". Also in concept art that is believed to be the Grand Architect, it is a woman. This form also appears in a cutscene beside Phrolova.

Edit: I know this isn't the Grand Architect, Im using early concepts to base my argument for why i think GA is a woman. The character's real name is Xixing

Why do they act?

I was reading through some lore and I began wondering, why do some threnodians stop fighting? Why do they only appear under specific conditions? It seems counter intuitive, and then I realized it seems they're less of a constant prescence and more like they're provoked or activated.

One such example of this is Ovathrax. We never actually witness the Threnodian of war start a conflict. The one time we see it get involved it is seemingly awoken or activated by the fractisdus. During the Battle beneath the Crescent it sent its vanguard into the battle, but within Outrider Squad Norfall Valley Investigation Log II its stated after the retreat the vanguard just left. Why wouldnt the Threnodian of War pursue and continue the assault? The same thing happened during Grand Warstorm. Iirc, after Dreamless was defeated, the conflict outside also came to a finish. Similarly, Ovathrax just left then too.

A similar thing happened with White Tower. After descending on that brilliant civilization and destroying it, it just stopped. Now it was said it hid in the rubble, but I believe it may have went into a hibernation mode of sorts, as no other civilization on solaris was at the destroyed one's level. That would also make sense for it, as some have theorized its the Threnodian of Possibility. It could also lend to why it went into the somnoire, as dreams have infinite possibilities.

Why are they bound to certain civilizations?

This would also explain why some threnodians seem to be bound to certain civilizations, while others arent.

Leviathan's waveworn phenomena only appeared in Rinascita, while, iirc, Ovathrax's Retroact Rain appears globally. While only the Order of the Deep was keeping the teachings in Rinascita for Unity, there are thousands of conflicts all over Solaris. If one is large enough, it may summon Ovathrax.

Not only are its abilities much better, but I believe it was said that Leviathan could assimilate Ovathrax.

It also just put on a better performance against Rover, even though it was restricted to a tiny fragment of its power.

I've seen a few people say he's the second strongest or strongest in the verse due to being Ovathrax's resonator, while Cartethyia is a sentinel and threnodian resonator, and defeated Leviathan at the height of its power.

Meanwhile, Geshu Lin has lost every fight he's been involved in, and is now Ovathrax's lapdog.

Could its powers of mind corruption as well as assimilation allow it to take over? Also, could it possibly ascend to Aeonhood?
