Apartments with small two bedroom units in Bel-Red area?

Thought I'd ask here too - my relative would come and visit me for a short period of time. Feels a bit excessive to rent a full fledged 2 bed for the entire year. I wonder if there are apartments in the Bel-Red area that offers small two bedrooms? Or 1B big enough that can be used for short visits?

I've looked at 1B+1Den but most dens don't have a window and would probably become sauna in summer. I've looked at some units in the new apartments but the 1B are all quite small and 2B are way too expensive just for short term visitors. I guess maybe some of the garden style apartments make more sense?

Anybody has any recommendations? Thanks!

Update: I think there's some confusion in my paraphrasing - my relative will be staying with me during that time so that's why I'm looking for a 2 bed. I'm not looking for a hotel/airbnb/guest suite.

Any drawbacks to convert my lease to month to month?

Is there any drawbacks to convert my lease to month to month? Thinking about doing that for more flexibility and to avoid hot months.

Also what is a reasonable % increase between one-year lease and month to month? I'm staying at one of the newer apartments and they're asking 20%+ to convert to month to month. I'm planning to negotiate it down but not sure what is a good target.

Thanks!

Looking for 1 Day Driving Trip Recommendations near City without Long Walks/Hikes

Hi, I'm looking for recommendations for a driving day trip near the city. I've already been to places in the city, e.g. Pike Market.

It seems most places, .e.g. Olympic National Park would require some sort of long walk/hike to the actual tourist sites. Unfortunately I have knee/ankle problems so cannot do long walks/hikes, so would prefer somewhere accessible by the car or very short walk from the car.

Any recommendations? Thanks!

Anybody tried to import their personal Toyota from USA to Canada when they move?

Would Toyota help to provide all the paperwork for free? - e.g. Recall Clearance letters?

Were there any issues?

Thanks!

Anybody has the "Eyesight Driver's Assist" package for 2026 Subaru?

Looking at Forester with Eyesight Driver's Assist and Power Rear Gate package.

How is this different from the standard Eyesight? Does it add adaptive cruise control and high way lane center? How does it work in action - would it be considered goo?

Thanks!

2021 GLC 300 40k miles - what is the ownership cost per year?

Looking at a 2021 GLC 300 with 40k miles, clean record + local lease. Tempted but concerned about the ownership cost.

  1. What is a reasonable budget per year? besides regular oil change (non MB shop probably $200?)

  2. How is the reliability of the 21 GLC?

  3. Any immediate maintainence costs? e.g. brake pads, fluid flush? The car is also equipped with stagerred wheels so I expect the tires also need to change?

Thanks!

Is the 2023 QX55 reliable compared to other luxury brands (non Lexus/Acura)?

Looking at a 2023 QX55 with 27k miles at low $30k, and have some questions:

  1. Are these reliable compared to other luxury brands? - not to Lexus/Acura obviously.

  2. It is a Infiniti Certified vehicle. I looked up their website and it says additional 6years of warranty? It sounds a bit too good to be true because normally it's 1+ year?

Anything else I need to know? Thanks!

Why is 2023 used CR-V EX price only $1k less than 2026 brand new?

In market for a new car, I'm seeing 2023 used CR-V EX with 15k miles selling for $32k, while 2026 brand new EX only for $33.7k? Why is this the case? Any catch here for the new one?

Looking at buying an Ioniq5 SEL 2024, have some questions

Looking at an Ioniq5 SEL 2024 AWD (hitrac) at 20k miles - and have some questions:

  1. the original sticker shows the MSRP was ... $52000? that's some crazy depreciation. Are there any potential issues?
  2. What is real world range with 2 years/20k miles degradation? Can it do 260 miles?
  3. Is ICUU still an issue? I looked up the VIN number on Hyundai's recall website and didn't find anything.
  4. How does this compare to a Model Y?
  5. Carfax seems to be clean. Leased car returned to Hyundai dealer but somehow went to a local Honda dealer the next day and now being sold by Honda. Is this normal for Hyundai cars?

Dealer asking for $27500, is this a good deal?

Thanks!
