I went to Baskin Robbins today, ordered 2 cones and one family pack. When I asked the staff for bill he asked for my number, I denied since I know these companies just sell our data and even still I did not wanted any promotional messages. So, I asked for a physical bill instead, the cashier straight up refused even though I can clearly see that there is printer and roll present at the desk. So, I argued that if you don't give me a recipt I will not give you the payment, he started arguing that you have already taken the scoops of ice cream so you will have to pay, I told him that I am not denying to pay just give me the receipt. After arguing for 10mins he gave me a physical receipt. For saving ₹0.25, he lost a customer. I will not go Baskin Robbins again.

Anyways I just wanted to rant, idk if I am right to ask for a physical bill or not, but it pissed me off that he had the printer and still argued.

I’ve been using EjaGuard lately and figured I’d share a quick review. I usually do 3 sprays and wait around 20 minutes before sex. During that time I honestly don’t notice much, which I actually prefer since I don’t like feeling overly numb.

Once things get going though, I can definitely tell a difference. I used to last around 2 minutes, and now I’m usually closer to 15–20. I can still feel everything, but the stimulation feels easier to control and I don’t feel like I’m immediately rushing toward the finish.

The biggest thing for me has probably been the confidence boost. I’m a lot less in my head about finishing too quickly, and overall it’s been a pretty noticeable improvement for me.

I am looking for some urgent advice or a good family lawyer recommendation in Sharjah. Actually I am going thru a complete nightmare with my husband and trying to file for khula, but there is physical, financial and emotional abuse involved so I know he's gonna make child custody a total mess. my absolute biggest fear is wanting to leave the country with my 4 year old, I will not leave without my kid. we are both on his visa sponsorship so I'm terrified he's going to hold my kids passport or cancel our visas out of spite to trap us here. I just really need to know my legal rights under UAE law and if a lawyer can help me get a court order or travel permission so he cant block us. Most discussions about cookie banners focus on whether tags fire before consent but I see CDAFA lawsuits around wiretapping claims along with UCL and CIPA claims happening now and that the defendants are losing out big time for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Whether that makes sense or is justified im not the judge or jury, but I am wondering about the evidence side to it and if there's a solution and a provider than can help avoid these expensive suits by using server side tagging? If a user later claims tracking happened without consent, what records do you actually need? Timestamp, IP, consent category, user agent, banner version, vendor list? I saw a video from Alex at captain compliance about server side tagging and wanted to know is it enough to show that the implementation blocks scripts by default or is server side the way to go to prevent these wiretapping claims?

I started my first tiny room kit over a week ago thinking it'd be a fun way to slow down in the evenings, but I've barely finished the floor and three tiny wooden chairs. Cutting out the microscopic paper plants is taking me an hour each. I'm using regular tacky glue but everything feels so tedious and my fingers are constantly sticky. Am I just incredibly slow or does it normally take weeks of daily labor to finish one of these kits? Just trying to gauge if i have the patience for this hobby long term.

28M, seeing a 27F for about two months. Friday our plans fell through because she had to stay late at work. No problem, that happens.

I opened our text thread to suggest Sunday instead and had this slightly embarrassing realization:

I think I've initiated the last six times we've seen each other.

When we're actually together, it's great. She's engaged, laughs, asks questions, stays longer than planned, and usually says something like "we should do this again soon."

She always responds. She isn't flaky in a dramatic way. I'm just doing all the forward motion.

I don't want to turn this into some weird texting test or start keeping score, but six dates in a row feels like actual data at this point. Would you simply stop initiating for a bit and see what happens? Or is this the kind of thing you'd bring up directly after two months?

Trying to figure out whether she's just passive about planning or whether I'm doing all the work because I'm more interested than she is.
