Layla will directly hit Laysan Island

It will likely hit the small northwestern Hawaiian island. I don’t think anyone lives there. Pictures from zoom.earth 12:37 pm pacific time.

I need a spell to make him go away!

I have cast a spell of safety for myself but he is so loud. The big tube wind guy throws my shit all over the place and is screaming. I need a spell to make the thing disperse. I know I’m safe but my ears are suffering pain still. I am in Gary Indiana. I will share my email address if need.
Thank you!

Geocaching in Oregon

My girlfriend and I both did geocaching in Boy Scouts. We really enjoyed it but it’s about a decade since. How do we get into it at this age? Mid 20s. Are there apps or do we need those gps walkie talkie things. I don’t know anything about the current system.

How can I take the bus from OHSU to downtown?

I have never lived in a place with a bus. What do I do to be on the bus to get from a stop near the OHSU campus to downtown?

Anyone know if there’s any good places to park without getting a ticket within a few miles of the Mx Park?

I’m working a job there and don’t really feel like getting to the job four hours early to find a parking spot. Are there any county roads or dirt roads where I could just leave my car for my shifts as long as it ain’t over night?

Do you think manchego would pair with spaghetti?

Would a grating of a young manchego be a good idea to add on top of spaghetti? I know it’s a Spanish cheese and Italian dish, but do you think it might be a good grating on top of spaghetti?

Black Out Blinds (no nails in wall)

I have a new apartment in Philadelphia. I am not able to drive nails or screws into the wall and there are no curtain holders. Is there a sort of “sticky” curtain holder slash curtains I can buy to block out the street lights for night time? Thank you!

Black out blinds furniture for apartment

Does anyone have a suggestion for black out blinds for an apartment without a curtain holder? I can’t put nails or screws into my wall because a historical building. I would like some black out curtains that can somehow stick to the wall like a command strip or something. Any ideas?

Are there volunteer positions near OHSU?

I really want to put some hours into volunteering for my new community. Does anyone know of any volunteering options near the OHSU campus, Homestead neighborhood, or Hillsdale neighborhood?

Beware of Individual

I live here. My girlfriend, my friend, and I were downtown in front of Sosoba. A ~60ya guy was there and asked us for a ciggy. After he asked and we said no, he went on to ask my gf for “a good time” and said homophobic statements. He waited outside for us to come out, seemingly in and out of consciousness. He’s a thin man with gray hair and he wore sunglasses. The staff said he tends to wander around town. He was wearing a tan coat, his hair was short, and he had jeans on. The Flagstaff Brewing Company bar literally helped us get away from him out the back the building. Apparently he hangs out there often. Please be careful and call someone if you see this guy in downtown.

ADOT Street Painters

Is it just me or are the painters from ADOT doing an awful job at painting the state owned roads. The cross walk paint is splattered everywhere. The white lines on 66 are splattered and uneven. The yellow divider lines are smeared. It looks like shit. I know it’s not possible, but hopefully one day we can make an enclave here and stop ADOT and the state as a whole from interfering with the city.
