Got hit in the side of my wrist and now can't move it and it hurts

I was hit in the side of my wrist, my right hand on the right side of my wrist, I can't really rotate my wrist or pick things up, visually it looks like nothing's wrong but it hurts a lot

Is there anything I can do? It's not swollen red or anything, just hurts a lot and is hard to use

Tips on keeping people and their dogs away?

No matter what I say for some reason people still choose to want to just walk up and pet my dog, and let either they're all free dogs or their least dogs run up to him, and 50% of the time said dog wants to start a fight with mine, no one listens to me even when I put a muzzle on my dog and say that they're not friendly.

My Malinois is a little over 10 months old and very friendly, he loves everyone but I don't want him to meet everyone, especially right now because he is very hyper and gets distracted very easily, my older 3-year-old dog is very dog selective, and will not be friendly to any strange dog just running up to her, it takes quite a bit of introduction to a calm well mannered dog for her to feel comfortable around them, but if the dog is not behaving properly she's still not going to be comfortable and will lash out.

However no matter what I say people refuse to listen, and then get mad and try to start a altercation with me because I physically stopped them and their dog from interacting with mine.

And I assume it does not help that my older dog does not look like a typical dog selective dog, it gets very annoying because no matter where I go people will come up and try to pet them without permission, even if I have things on the dog that says do not pet.

And they will usually argue with me and try to convince me to let them pet the dog, they also get mad when I tell them their dog cannot play with mine.

It's not even always at the stores (all but one of the stores near me are pet friendly) I'll just be on a walk with my dogs and people will come out of their house out of their yard or cross the street to want to interact with my dogs, my dogs look different than typical dogs you see in the area, usually it's pits or hounds that you see, so I guess that's why people are drawn to my dogs.

Please any advice would be greatly appreciated!

What are training methods you do with your horse that people think are crazy?

I don't have a horse anymore mine unfortunately passed away and I can't afford to get another horse at the moment, however I hijacked my cousin's horses a lot and I'm currently helping her start a new horse she got a 6 year old mixed breed no clue what he is, and one of the things I do besides a lot of ground work is I get feed bags like the thinner ones that oats and corn come in if you get feed from feed mills a lot, I feel them up with soda cans because they make a very loud noise, I'll get shiny metallic Fabric and hang on the outside of the bag and then I start desensitizing the horse to that, and once the horse is okay with it on the ground I will put them on the saddle horn or attach them somehow to an English saddle depending on what you're using, and for a good while any kind of work under saddle is going to have those cans on the saddle, I find that it really helps disensitize the horse to strange noises and shiny things, I also attach a bunch of random things to the saddle I will get pool noodles and whack things with them around the horse and eventually from the horse's back, then I'll move on to a stick and start hitting sacks of cans metal buckets things like that both on the ground and on the horse.

Basically I trained the horse like it's getting ready to ride into a medieval Battlefield Because my cousin does a lot of Trail riding, but due to an injury if the horse was to Spook it could paralyze her for life if she hits the ground and she's not confident she could stay in the saddle to ride out a bucking horse.

So I want to make this horse as bomb proof as I possibly can, so I'm basically going to be the only one riding this horse for the next couple of years until I feel like it's safe for her to ride, so far doesn't care about the pop cans anymore and doesn't care about the pool noodle on the ground but is a little bit nervous when I get on his back with it

Those of you that have dog reactive dogs but didn't used to be what happened?

I mean what caused your dog to become reactive towards other dogs if they didn't used to be?

My female dog is reactive towards other dogs out of fear, she's three now but when she was 6 months old I was doing some training with her in lowe's, she wasn't a very big dog then even now she's only 35 pounds, I wasn't paying attention I was 17 just doing random training exercises with her, out of nowhere this big fuzzy off leisure dog probably about 70 lb not sure what grade bolted over and about knocked me down to grab her up and start shaking her, I grabbed something off of the display rack and started beating the dog to get it off of her and it worked, I think I knocked the dog out but my dog needed to go to the vet and the owners tried to yell at me and sue me for hurting their dog.. they ended up paying my baby girls vet bills plus having their dog deemed vicious, even though she doesn't have any visible scars anymore, except for one over her eyelid that's barely noticeable she is very scared of strange dogs, especially big dogs, she doesn't run and cower her Resort is to lunch and react to them to try to get them away.

She's learned that I am a safe space now, and so I can take her in places like PetSmart Tractor Supply Etc where there are other dogs and she doesn't really care, the only time she cares is if one gets too close to her or starts lunging towards her it freaks her out, I still can't take her into Lowe's or places similar to it because she starts panicking.

I am working with a professional trainer, they said that she might become tolerant at most but she'll never like strange dogs, fortunately once she gets to know a calmer dog in a calm environment she can be very good friends with them, I personally have one other dog and she gets along with my fiance's dog as well, it took about 4 months for her and my fiance's dog to get along, it was pretty immediate with my other dog because I brought him home as a puppy and she's mostly fine with puppies unless they start biting her and then she just gives them the correction needed to make them stop

What is the cheapest horse you have ever had?

I'm not talking about upfront cost of actually getting the horse but you can mention that if you want to, I'm talking about over the course of however long you have had the horse what is the cheapest one you have had?

For me it was my miniature horse and my donkey, we did everybody's feet ourselves so that was free and we never used shoes on anything unless it was medically required.

Both of them somehow avoided getting injuries that were worse than a scratch, the only actual concerning injury my miniature horse ever got was a bee sting in her nose from trying to eat a bee...... past that she never really had any kind of injury, she of course got her yearly check up and updated vaccines along with having her teeth done which only needed to be done once a year, my donkey surprisingly only ever had to get three stitches in her flank and that was not even her fault, another horse bit her across the fence so she had to get stitches for that.

Past that She only ever seen the vet for the yearly checkup vaccines and to get her teeth done once every two years Because Apparently she had really good teeth (they would still look at them though on the yearly checkup)

Never had any major injuries, never had to get any special kinds of feed for them never had to get any kind of supplements or anything like that, in fact both of them could basically survive on air so they had to be on a diet when it came to grain and only got free choice grass hay.

My dad's quarter horse was the direct opposite..... in one year we spent $4,000 on her because she decided to bust her knee open, twice, make another horse mad enough to kick her and crack a rib. And ate a screwdriver.... fortunately it didn't go all the way down so they were able to sedate her and pull it out without having to do any major surgery.

Both my miniature horse and Donkey were free, my dad's horse was 35000 Because of her papers and show career, she also had to have special horseshoes on her front seat or she just could not be sound no matter what you did so that was fun, and is why I am now hesitant to purchase another quarter horse, but love her miss her her name was dusty, she was chestnut with a white Blaze and thought she was Queen of the world.

My donkey was just a simple gray donkey that was about the size you would see people keeping with their cows, my miniature horse was mostly white with pink skin blue eyes but she had a brown forehead ears and about 4 in down her neck was brown, too huge brown patches on her hips, one on each side it was about 9 in all the way around and a little bit of black in her tail.

Why are they so suicidal, and so talented at it?

This little turd got out somehow, still not quite sure how, and was running around the yard found the only tree root sticking up out of the ground, decided it would be a good idea to IMPEL itself with it..... somehow it got said tree root through the bottom of its jaw out of its mouth and slid 6 in down said tree root... how and why it happened I have no idea because there was no reason for it, it was in the middle of the yard it was not like it got trapped I feel like it was just trying to end itself....... Why are they like this? I'm going to clean its injury but it's acting normal and interested in food, I'll probably wet its food a little bit and of course keep it separate until there's no visible injury

What is it with people hating on crates?

In the DOG subreddit I made a post asking about Dog crate sizes, my dogs original crate got messed up Beyond repair so temporarily she's having to use a smaller one which is a little bit too small,( I am ordering her a new one it should be here Monday) and the amount of hate I got just for the fact that I use a crate is crazy, people were telling me that I shouldn't even have a dog if I'm going to walk them in a jail for all day( 3 to 4 hours at most and she chooses to lay in the crate the rest of the day even though it's open) they told me I shouldn't even get a dog if I can't be at home with them, and that I should train my dog better if I can't leave it unintended.. I feel like I can't do anything right anymore

What is this flimsy piece that came with my dog's new crate?

Probably a very stupid question with an obvious answer, but I have never purchased a new crate I've always purchased second hand but unfortunately I couldn't find one big enough second hand for my boy, so I had to break down and spend $69.

It came with this additional Piece of Wire comma Almost like one of the end pieces To the cage but it's very flimsy, the listing said nothing about any extra pieces and I could not find any examples of what it's for on the box or pamphlet, it did not come with a instruction manual.

Please be nice if this have a very obvious answer, but I would really like to know what this is and if I should keep it or get rid of it?

Well this crate work for my girl?

Not sure if it's exact dimensions but she's about 35 lb, this is the crate I used for my Malinois when he was a puppy and obviously he outgrew it, she did have a bigger crate than this that was about twice this size, but my fiance thought it would be a good idea to throw his dog in it because someone showed up and his dog was not crate trained... he thought the most she would do would be to cry for a little while, instead she just completely ripped the crate apart and destroyed everything except for the tray, so until I can get a new one will this crate work?

Should I call a rehabber for this possum?

Is not dead it's just pretending to be before you guys panic, I came outside and started it so it did the normal logical thing of falling over and pretending to be dead, I went to go move it as it fell over in the middle of the driveway and I didn't want it to get ran over and noticed it was hurt and the injury looks pretty bad on its nose, should I put it in a cage and call a rehab or should I just leave it be? Maybe spray some antiseptic and put it to the side? I just hate to think that it is suffering and might get an infection

Look what I just got for free

I went to the stock sale today not to purchase animals but to look and see if there was any cages I could get and other animal supplies for really cheap, I also tend to look at other random things like clothes jewelry just random odds and ends.

I was just walking around and noticed this little thing running around and it should not have been, I used some pork skins to catch it and then I started asking people that were selling chickens about it, most of them said they didn't know anything about it but the one person that did said that there was a Spanish guy selling a bunch of baby chickens about an hour before I arrived and then he packed up and left, I guess he missed one, I looked around for a while to see if I could find another one just in case but this is the only one I could find

What breed do you think it is? Also would you quarantine it or since it's so young just put it in with my existing chicks?

Got told it's not appropriate to use these type of reins if I don't need them

I don't have my own personal horse but I do ride my cousin's horse frequently and even purchased some tack for the horse that I like better than what she had because my cousin just doesn't care what I do as long as I'm not hurting anything, and she's literally the best cousin in the world for that because I can't afford to get my own horse again.

On to the main topic of this post, my cousin boards her horses not because she can't keep her horses at home she absolutely can she just wants access to the indoor arena free water and the option to have someone else care for her horses if she gets sick or can't or whatever comes up.

This Barn knows all about me and me and her decided to go together to ride each of her horses, I rode her horse Rocky which is just a solid Chestnut gelding and she rode her other horse Melody which is just a gray mare.

I ride in a English side pull Bridal and a Spanish saddle, I like the saddle because I find it very comfortable and it fits the horse very well, actually better than the one she originally had for him and I like the bridal because it's bitless and I just like how it looks.

I took the basic brown reins off and put these ones on because I like how they look better, even my cousin likes them because they're kind of fun however, one of the instructors at this Barn decided to put their two cents in it and said if I'm not a beginner I should not be using those reins because it's not appropriate... I don't know why it's any of their business and I'm not going to change so long as I'm not hurting the horse I don't see a reason to.

They seemed fully butthurt that I wouldn't swap them out either, like why is it a problem? I just really like them

(Sorry for typos and bad grammar my autocorrect is really hating me and I'm kind of tired)

What are some Predator proof Horse Pen ideas?

My cousin has two horses, and before she moved she couldn't keep her horses at her property so she boarded them she has recently moved and now can have her horses at home but was still boarding them because she had Had access to a arena and other Commodities, but unfortunately that boarding facility is shutting down so she has to bring them home, she already has a six acre field and stuff for them along with a good shelter.

However she does need a smaller pin for the two of them up by her house, she is planning to use her round pen for it but we need to figure out how to make it to where things like dogs and coyotes can't get in there as that is a problem at night, of a daytime it's not an issue but at night there is a crap ton of coyotes there's bear and mountain lions, so she wants them up closer to the house so she can protect them as the field is at the bottom of her driveway, and that's just too far away for her to be able to tell if something is going on or not.

Any ideas would be great!

Edit: to add that one of them is a miniature around the size of a large Labrador and the other is a 14-2 hand 26 Year old rescue with slight cataracts in one eye.

She's also allergic to dogs so Guardian dogs are not an option

Just patiently waiting for the ladies to come out

He's not in there because my main rooster is, I only have one rooster that goes into the coop with the hens and my other roosters go into a separate coop otherwise they will fight in such Close Quarters, so the roosters get let out first and later I let the hans out once they lay their eggs.

Also don't come at me for the chicken wire my goat headbutt the side of the coop and destroyed the hard work cloth so I just had to use something for now

What is the weirdest remedy you have found for a aggressive rooster?

Now before you try this please note I've only done this with one rooster because I've only ever had one aggressive rooster it was a game rooster that was given to me.

I had tried the pinning him down I tried the kicking him although I was told I didn't kick him hard enough but I didn't want to hurt him, I tried giving him a bunch of women that just made it worse, I sprayed him with the hose that just made him matter nothing I did was working and he was about to become chicken and dumpling soup.

I tried one last ditch effort Just to see if it would work And I put him in a crate, and I'm not talking about a large dog crate I'm talking about a small crate just big enough for him to Flap his wings in, I would give him just enough food just enough water and he stayed in there for about 2 weeks, when he came out he was a perfect gentleman didn't attack me ever again, and mind you I didn't really mess with him much while he was in there, but somehow it worked and he stayed with me until he just fell over dead.

Definitely not sure if he just decided not to be aggressive Or The crate actually worked, he was already 4 years old when I got him so I'm still not entirely sure but it worked and thought I would tell you guys, and figured I would ask what you guys do for a aggressive rooster before you just get sick of it and make chicken and dumpling soup

Also I'm aware of people are going to call me a chicken abuser, I was 14 doing this and trying to figure out how to stop his aggression, since I wanted the chickens I was all alone in their care and just did my best

Why is it normalized to abuse betta fish?

Unfortunately I was not allowed to take a picture of this because it was in an animal shelter, but you know those old milk jars you could get in like the 50s? They held like a quart of milk I believe.. at the animal shelter they have a long thin betta fish I believe it's a veil tail in said bottle, it's got about 2 in of marbles and a fake plant in there which leaves it with almost zero moving space, and it's got a weird white cloudy film that's about a quarter of an inch thick on the bottom of the glass hovering over the marbles.

I ask them if it was just turned in And they said no that they got it for decoration, I offered to get them a five gallon aquarium and set it up for them, they said no because they did not like how those looked they liked how the bottle looks....

I asked them if the same could be said for a dog kept in a cage 24 7 Just because they "liked how it looked" And never took the dog out of the cage, they said that's different because dogs can suffer, and then they asked me to leave because I was making a scene.

I wasn't sure of what post flair to put so I just put the rip because I'm certain that fish is going to be dead in a week

Explain the logic of this to me

No I did not put these chicks in this bucket before anyone gets mad, there's about 30 of them in this 5 gallon bucket.. I was feeding and there was grain in the bucket that I was going to pour into their feeder, my goat got out so I set the bucket down without pouring it to them because I didn't want my goat to go and Destroy something (he's a billy goat and likes to head butt shiny things like my car) takes me about 10 maybe 15 minutes to get everything back to the way it should be since he broke the fence, I come back and I guess they thought they were starving because all of them minus one were piled into the bucket on top of each other... I have absolutely no words

I have a few ladies that molt around this time of year, and even though my roosters are pretty gentle with them when they're molting sometimes the roosters will accidentally hurt their backs, so I was thinking about getting some chicken saddles for them, but I free range my chickens from 11:00 a.m. till it's time to go to bed, and they are fully free range during that time, I'm just worried that they might get hung up on something or it may make it harder for them to get away from something.

Let me know What you guys think and if you have experience with it comma currently when my ladies are molting I just keep an eye on them and maybe separate them until they're done

I'm in my first trimester of pregnancy, it was not planned so I was not taking any prenatals before I got pregnant and not for a few weeks after because I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant, and then when I found out I didn't know I needed to take prenatals.

I started taking prenatals the other day and I'm roughly 6 or 7 weeks along, and before I started taking them everybody told me to take prenatal vitamins with folic acid otherwise my baby might be deformed, now that I'm taking them I keep being told that folic acid is bad because it's synthetic and that I should just eat more greens.

I don't know what to do and I don't go to the OGBYN until July because they don't have room, I'm not sure what to do so please help, this is the first time I've ever been pregnant I don't have anyone to go to because I've been shunned by everyone for getting pregnant at 19 and not getting rid of the baby so I don't have anyone to ask but the internet.
