don't believe Enterprise if you really need a car

too long to get into but i had to get a last minute ride and flight (over $400) after being reassured that they def had a car for me, so i could get home in time to not miss work. contacted Enterprise and they said they would send my complaint to the local, but since the people at the local are the ones that caused this issue and didn't seem to care then, idk what sending a complaint will do. obviously going in the circular file. my favorite part with the live chat was at the end where she asked me to rate the service and then disconnected before i could do it. thanks for nothing and do not recommend.

FK differences?

I am collecting the gold rimmed swirled milk glass Fire King pieces and was so excited when I found a sixth salad plate (I have six dinner plates and six saucers) and the creamer (already have the sugar bowl), but when I got it home I noticed it has some discrepancies- I will still use it together and am happy to have it but need to read up on the manufacturing year etc.
Assume it’s the same set but diff production years?
Also found this cute Johnny Hart/BC comic bowl- it’s such an unusual shape

Ideas for parents of graduates

I know a few women (coworkers, friends) whose kids are going to college- I would like to get THEM something to commemorate this achievement. Any ideas? I don’t want to spend too much and make it weird but would like something more special than a bottle of wine etc.
Also have a couple that paid for part of a trip to France for my grad to go with their child this summer. Mine is doing a thank you card but anything else sound good? A card sounds a bit lackluster
TIA

Digoin Grespots glazed terracotta pie pan info?

Anyone know anything about this maker? I'm unfamiliar with the brand and haven't had much luck online finding anything about this piece. Would love to know the years it was produced- it feels timeless

Thrifted find- i love this art deco look!
I’m not having much luck with reverse image search.
Does anyone know what this pattern is called? I’d love to be able to find the cups.

Vintage two cup

So I have my workhorse stovetop pot that I use everyday but was discussing my ‘collection’ (lol) with a friend the other day and realized I’ve never used this vintage one that my mom gave me when she downsized. I *think* it’s from Italy/1950s but could be wrong (my parents were there at different times).

Anyone have tips for this? Can I use it on a gas stove?

Texture is changing with age

I have my grey dyed, but I like the mallen stripe so my stylist leaves that (still does a clear treatment on it).
However, the texture of the grey is SO much coarser than the rest of it, and the grey seems to not curl the same as the rest either.
I’m pretty low maintenance (i.e. lazy) so I condition well (only wash about twice a week but i will condition it when it’s wet), add Not Your Mother’s Curl Talk cream when it’s sopping wet, scrunch dry with a cotton tshirt, and air dry. I sometimes use Trader Joe’s shea hair serum.
Not even sure what type of curl i have - 3A (edited) is my best guess. When the stylist diffuses it I do get nice spiral curls, but honestly I would be happy with healthier hair that doesn’t look so frizzy and dry.
Any suggestions?

My kid will be traveling with friends through France (and maybe a quick trip into the north of Italy) for a few weeks. They are connecting through the Dublin airport (I think- not sure joe long their lay over is yet). She has an iPhone with an xfinity plan- we have the option to pay $10/day for international service, but that seems steep for two weeks.

Several years ago when we went to Italy we went to a store (at the time she had an esim and I needed an actual physical sim card). We made it work, but it was a bit of a hassle finding the store and then getting it to work.

They need internet. Would love for them to be able to call each other but at the very least they need to be able to whatsapp each other.

I would love to be able to buy and install or work out an inexpensive option prior to them arriving in europe.

Anyone have recent suggwstions?
