Trying to recreate the shapes/contours of this longboard deck using a contour gauge/graph paper/calipers & a lot of measurements, not going right, If yall wanted to copy the shape / contour of a deck or something like this to recreate it how would you do so? Obviously I can't cut it up.
Looking for info and help about lifepo batteries for my onewheel v1
I have a onewheel V1, and I'm having someone build me a new battery pack for it, the old one was lifepo and while I know I can get a lithium ion version made, I like the idea of how long the lifepo ones have lasted me, years wise, but when looking around I'm not seeing any of the brands that I'm used to seeing that make good quality trusted liion (Samsung, molicell, sanyo, etc). I'm looking for ideally both high quality trusted brands and cells, and high capacity ones, I've seen some around that advertise 5000/6000 mah and something like that would be ideal
As a pev these would be subject to a fair amount of charge/recharge cycles, heat and cold from outside, etc, though I'm not one of those that does tricks, off-road riding or racing with my onewheel or even pushing it bast around 15 ish mph so other than the weather/temp and charge recharge cycles these should t be pushed too hard, regardless I want good cells as I love this onewheel and don't want to have a risk of fires/etc

Things feel bigger and heavier but look normal
I am not asking for medical advice.
I've got this weird thing going on right now where even though I can see and understand things are normal size and weight, if feels like they're bigger and heavier, for instance my phone feels like it weighs at least 5 pounds and is almost twice the size that I know and can see it actually is. This started like half an hour ish ago.
any ideas what this is? Google doesn't help, just says "Alice in wonderland syndrome is seeing things as bigger or smaller than they are" which I don't, I can see things normally.
Idk if this will help but I am tired, haven't been sleeping well for a couple months (sometimes, like last night, I only get 3-6 hours of sleep) (been trying to get a sleep specialist appt, hopefully might finally have one next Tuesday) I think I have a cold or something (gonna get checked out today after my internship) I've also got mental disabilities like ADHD/autism spectrum/etc.
I think this has happened before, I can vaguely remember it but I don't think it was this bad.
Again not asking for medical advice, just can't find what this is and am curious to see if I can learn more and if I need to talk to someone about it.
I also don't feel dizzy or have any symptoms of like a stroke, just this weird feeling of big/heavier than they should be things
Help with a board worksheet for people
Some of y'all may remember I posted that I'm working at an internship and we're going to be doing a class where people can come in and make their own boards with us with the press and cnc's that we have here that I will teach.
I've been working on this worksheet that I would give to people so that they have some basic important need to know knowledge before they start thinking about and planning their board, as well as the options that we are offering for them to be able to make, we've decided that we're going to offer four different types of boards to be made, originally it was going to be a skateboard, a longboard of some type, a cruiser, and a surf skate but I realized that we could probably do the cruiser and surf skate with the same mold (have a middle piece of the mold for a longer board if wanted so they can still have a longer kicktail board, or a shorter one without the middle piece).
What I'm trying to figure out is a couple things, what is the fourth type of board we should offer? And does this worksheet look good? What does it need to make it better? (What important information, what decision tree things, etc does it need).
Also to clarify before I receive any questions, the question about the board being standard or custom is whether they want one of the four standard options that we will be offering or if they want to do something custom with a fancy set of veneers, different special shape/camber/etc than the molds everyone else will be using, full custom (with this option they would be paying more since they would be doing different designs and possibly ordering special veneers that we may not have on hand)
So I just did something in grid I didn't know you could do (PS3) made me laugh pretty hard 😂
I have played grid on my phone for a while, still do occasionally, the full paid version, but nothing like this had ever happened on that, recently got it installed on my PS3 and was playing a few races before bed and this happened, made me laugh pretty heartily XD
Southern Utah near St george, what kind of spider is this? Obviously not a daddy long legs, no I won't get any closer pictures

Hey y'all
I'm working at a tech college as a CAD (Computer Aided Design) drafter, I was hired to do designs and all the rest of the processes to make boards and help people who come in to do the same (dream job right?). We will be hosting a class (maybe more than one) where people can come in, choose one of 4 board styles and work with me to design and press a custom (within reason and one of the 4 designs) board; they'll be able to choose their wood veneers within reason too, we will have a decision tree for them to look and decide. We have decided for sure to do a regular skate deck and a longboard deck, but haven't decided on the other 2 options.
If anyone is curious to know more feel free to ask, the main software I'm using for design is Sk8cad and they have a shape library of a bunch of the most used skate designs if you want to see what I'm working with, though of course I can do modifications do the designs.

What do y'all think we should do? I personally was thinking cruiser and surf skate as a couple of the guys here want a surf skate themselves.

Accidentally got rid of the toolbar that was above this one, how do I bring it back? New user just started using today
Did a fun EMTB ride tonight, same area I've gone a bunch but different trails up on a mesa that I've been wanting to try, was hella fun, was yet again surprised by the capability of my board, went over some stuff I didn't expect it to, & my tires, gripped some parts I didn't expect em to
So I started a print yesterday before I went on a little trip and I came back to this, is my printer head fucked?
imgur.comNEWBEE COMPANY AND RTKP TRUCK WARNING
This is a warning post against Newbee as a company and especially their RTKP trucks. Back in February I worked with them and ordered a single rtkp truck with the 45° base plates planning to use it to attach a gear drive and put on my Eovan. I went off of the pictures that they had on their website, which was very clear in my conversations with them (this part will be important later on in this post) which showed the hangars with a square profile all the way to the ends. They also had an option for 10mm axles, which one would rightfully assume is 10mm the whole length of the axle, as there was nothing on the website to say otherwise.
I ordered the truck, and about a month later received it, opened the box to see something for all intents and purposes completely different than what I ordered, the hangar is not square all the way to the ends as shown on their website and discussed with them, the hangar itself does not look the same (does not have the cutouts shown on the website, so assumed to be heavier), the axles are only 10mm partially, for about 2/3 of each axle before jumping up to 12mm, which again was not disclosed in conversations or on the website, and both axles have corrosion (rust) completely surrounding the circumference of each axle, and these trucks (and one would assume axles) are supposedly new.
I of course tried contacting them for a refund and return, first on their Facebook messenger, of which it took them 6 days to even notice, much less respond (only with "Hi friend", nothing more) I also contacted them via email and was met with resistance, pushback, blame shifting/blaming me, and excuses ("There will be some rust on the 10mm shaft, which cannot be controlled, This does not affect use." "Friend, You should have looked at the product picture before bought it." "The advertisement we sent is round at both ends.
If you have any questions or requirements for compatibility, you should ask clearly before placing an order.") I pushed back as well, reminded them I ordered from their website which showed a different product/different version, had made that clear and directly said and showed it before ordering with screenshots of their site. They refused a full refund, even when I said I do not want the truck and want to return it.
I will include all of the screenshots and pictures I can and if any updates happen (and anyone here is interested in them) can update this topic if wanted. I am not the only one who has had issues with newbee and these trucks recently either, there is also a post on FB I can link here from someone else who also has had issues.
I hope this post helps and serves as a warning not to waste your money and time on this scammy company
