My first tank day 20

Hi guys so this is my first tank after first seeing this subreddit. I've always wanted a fish tank but after coming along to this sub i have learned a lot a this month i finally made that dream a reality.

Before everyone criticizes me for adding fish so early, I started with some ramshorn snails and my tap has .5 ppm ammonia. I do water tests everyday and ghost feed (kinda), first few days there was good amount of ammonia but after awhile that ammonia hit zero for a few days in a row. Thats when I added my first batch of fish then after awhile of 0 ammonia the next batch and so on.

So back to the tank, for my first tank I wanted to go all out, I bought the UNS 90P (around 50 gal), a Fluval 307 canister, Aquarium Co-op filter outake, heater, the B series light from Chihiros, a few bags of Fluval shrimp and plant stratum, some dragon stone and a piece of spiderwood.

For the plants, I can't really remember what i got but I do remember buying dwarf hairgrass (melting atm), some elodia in the back, java ferns, and some anubias.(don't quote me) I am going to add some java moss and some duckweed (yea duckweed very mixed feelings around the hobby but i really like how it looks and it spreads super fast so a bonus).

The scape took quite a bit but for my first I think it really came together.

As for the stocking I have a few ramshorns, 13 ember tetras (going for around 30), 9 pygmy corydoras (the guy at the LFS accidentally gave me an extra going for 12), 2 amano shrimp (again the guy at the LFS accidentally gave me some). I am going to be adding cherry shrimp soon once the tank is stable, 3 honey gouramis, and maybe also a pom pom crab.

If my tank is going to be overstocked please tell me, I want to give these fish and inverts the best life they can live.

I am still figuring out live and frozen food but my dry food collection is pretty decently sized. It includes Aqueon tropical sinking granules, Fluval bug bites tropical formula, Fluval bug bites spirulina, Repashy soilent green, Aquarium Co-op fish fry feed(forgot what its called), and Aquatrol flakes.

I might try the Aquarium Co-op brine shrimp stuff.

How did I do for my first tank, criticism and pointers are welcome!

edit:(lol im editing it like 5 min after posting) seems like i forgot to say my nitrites are also at 0.

Speechless bro just speechless

so i take my mom out to go play gofest day 2 with me (she knows nothing abt Pokemon and just has a small account) so raid one she gets a shiny bg second is shiny no bg we r celebrating like crazy (or at least I am cuz I got terrible luck) we do a the third raid she screams I got the purple one! do a few more then on our ninth one she gets another shiny ( mind u I haven’t gotten one yet) she goes I like the purple ones better though. and I tell her to check the ivs while I catch mine. she says oh I got a cool bg and proceeds to go to appraise. She pauses and says why is it red. the second I hear that I swing my head around and there it is shundo bg mewtwo. she goes it’s probably a bug right and proceeds to go to transfer it. I stop her just in time though and explain that this is the best pokemon in the game at the time and basically one of the most rare too. Even like youtubers who spend their lives on this game dont have one (except for the free hundo in New York but). she says do you want it I’m crying inside because I do really want it but then I remember that ivs change after trades. I explain that to her and she pats me on the shoulder and says I would give it to u in a heartbeat if I could. well I’m done with my little story time still kinda sad it wasn’t me but yea she can help me with raids with that so I’m happy she’s happy and we got a good memory! best gofest so far imo

Uns 60u lid will it stop the chili

For my first tank Im gonna get a uns 60u and plant it. it’s gonna have like 12 chilis and 10 cherry shrimp and 2 neon blue gobies. then I realized that chilis r jumpers and decided to get a lid. the uns 60u lid is nice but it has huge holes for the chilis to jump thru. am I overthinking it or should I get a different lid. if I should what lid should I get? it should have some small holes for like the filter pipes and like the heater but not many or too big for the chilis to jump out of.

Hide channels

I don’t know if this is a thing but I own a server for our friends. We decided to make a girls and guys only channels. I created roles and restricted roles to not be able to go to the other gender channel. the problem is I can still see the girls channel. No one talks in that channel bc they know I can see it. Any fix aside from lying?
