The Bell Curve: Cosmere Edition.
Why couldn't you be like Kaladin, Moash? Look at him—he’s lost even more than you have, and the worst thing he’s ever done is cheat Syl with DEPRESISION a few times a year.
In retrospect, without context, it sounds like ecchi anime.
How do you think a more "extended" meeting between Siri and Vivenna would have gone?
At the end of Warbreaker—even though it’s one of my favorite Cosmere books—I felt everything was very rushed. I was disappointed that the conversation between Siri and Vivenna was so brief; I mean, their storyline had been sidelined for a while, but even if Vivenna used it as an excuse to rediscover her purpose, it’s hard for me to understand why they weren't given more time. How do you think a longer conversation could have played out?
Spook is a legend.
Spook taught me that if you feel bad and insecure, you should use something that heightens your senses every day until you’re practically blind—and people elevate you to divine status.
I hate the unnecessary hate that Raimi's Mary Jane gets.
To be honest—and I know this is a somewhat controversial opinion that drew criticism from my group of friends (I’m a guy)—I still maintain that... Raimi’s Mary Jane is a pretty solid character. I’m not saying she’s perfect—she isn’t. In fact, among all of Spider-Man’s cinematic love interests, she’s arguably the one who leaves the most to be desired. However, it seems like every guy on the internet refuses to consider the context behind her actions or the reasons for her behavior.
Mary Jane’s life wasn't all that different from Peter’s. According to the novelization, her father used to chase her down and beat her, constantly telling her she was worthless and would never attract a good man. This drove her to get involved with men not out of love, but out of a desperate need to prove her own worth. The worst part is that, from her perspective, the world seemed to validate that idea: her failed career, her string of failed relationships, and the fact that the one guy who promised to be there for her never was. She saw her father’s flaws reflected in every man she met. Ultimately, her resolution in Spider-Man 2 isn't just about choosing Peter; it’s about making a choice—not to prove her worth to anyone else, but simply because she wants to and she Love it.
Regarding the most criticized aspects of Spider-Man 3—and this isn't even up for debate, as it’s largely a matter of poor writing—Peter comes across as a complete moron in this movie; from the kiss with Gwen Stacy and his growing ego to his humiliation at the bar, he is portrayed in a very bad light. I’m not saying she’s perfect—or the best version by a long shot—but it seems everyone has forgotten that she was a person with virtues, flaws, and traumas, and above all, a young woman trying to pick herself up time and again, just like peter; instead, people focus only on her bad moments and treat her like the worst person in the world.
edit: And by the way, the Peter and Ursula ship is the most superficial crap I’ve ever seen, for God's sake. That was proven when they saw the actress who played Ursula years later, and all the shippers bailed and changed their minds.

sorry for the elend slander.
A beautiful couple supporting each other however they can.
(P.S.: I’m reposting this because I’m not a native English speaker, and in the first version I used a word that turned out to be much more vulgar than I realized, so I’d appreciate it if you could overlook that.)
