Jump pack sergeant
Got these fancy stands printed for my jump pack guys and this is my first try painting one up. I'm not too good at the wet blending but I still think it turned out pretty good.
Apothecary model
Is there a difference between the primaris apothecary that comes in the box versus the one that comes in the little blister pack or are they the same model?
Recommendation on a first kill team
Thinking of getting into kill team and would like a recommendation on a starting point. I would prefer a Xenos team and ideally one that isn't super complicated. I don't really care about how "strong" a team is.
Just finished path of daggers
This book was pretty damn interesting overall and I thought i would share some thoughts as a first time reader for anybody interested. It goes without saying but no spoilers please.
I feel super bad for Rand. Always alone, never getting close to anybody for fear of betrayal or fear of their safety. He's starting to lose it, but he thinks he may be able to cleanse Saidin which is interesting.
I can't believe Dashiva betrayed Rand. I was convinced he was on our boy's side. Especially because it seemed that the pattern influenced Rand picking him out a couple books ago.
I find the side plot of the aes sedai in the tower that Elaida has asked to uncover the black Ajah super interesting
Elyas is such an oddity to me that I don't even really know what to think of him.
Were Thom and Julin still in Ebou Dar when the Seanchan took the city? They weren't really mentioned after that, knowing Thom he probably found a way out though
Cadsuanne and the discovery that Callandor needs to be used with 2 women, if that's even true, is kinda nutty.
I hope the next book picks right up with Egwene's battle for the white tower. I feel like I've been waiting for that forever.
It seems crazy to me that the bowl of winds is able to just undo the Dark One's direct influence on the weather like that
Taim is definitely evil and I agree with Lews Therin that he needs to die.
Logain on the other hand seems okay, and the kiss he gave that Aeis Sedai seems to be a male version of the warder bond
Also there's just too many characters now, and a lot of them have such similar names keeping track is almost impossible. I had an idea in my head of all the aes sedai and which ones might be evil but they introduce like 50 new aes sedai each book and I've given up on keeping them straight.
Oh yeah and Verin was up to some weird shit at the very beginning of the book
Finished my bladeguard
Probably my favorite unit in my army so far. The knight look with the sword and shield is just perfect.
Bladeguard Sargeant
Rushed to finish this fella last night so I could make it to my LGS to play today and then nobody even showed up 🙃 the plasma pistol didn't turn out as glowy as I would've liked but other than that I was really pleased with how he turned out.
Printing in cold environment
Hi guys, I'm looking to get into resin printing mainly focused on miniatures. I would likely have to set my printer up in my shed due to the lack of space in my house and it would help with ventilation. I just wanted to know if you guys have any experience with printing in very cold temperatures as we have cold winters where I live. Are vat heaters enough to counteract this, or will i essentially be unable to print for a few months? I was looking at the Anycubic P1 and the reviews I have seen say the heater gets very warm.
Hercules cordless shop vac
Does anybody else have the cordless vac and is yours insanely loud? Mine is deafening to the point where I almost need ear protection and I feel bad for the neighbors. Am I missing something or is that just how it is?
Blood Ravens Chaplain
Finished up this chaplain earlier today. I know it isn't the best but I am normally VERY bad at painting faces and for the first time a face came out okay enough for me to keep it around. He's ready to lead my bladeguard ( now that Judiciars aren't really that good ) with the help of his bladeguard ancient buddy.
Going from 1k to 1.5k
Hey guys I've been sitting at 1k points for a while and am slowly building up to 2k. I would like to transition from playing 1k games to 1.5k and would like your opinions on a list.

Bladeguard Ancient
Had to hurry up and get this guy painted so he can support my bladeguard in my first game of 11th edition later today.
Confused starting book 8
I'm starting book 8 and I'm a little confused. Weren't the Seanchan in the middle of invading the city Elayne and the knitting circle were in? And who was Ispan Shefar? The knitting circle has her bound and shielded but I dont remember her at all from the previous book. I'm afraid to Google it for spoilers.
Finished up my first vehicle
Pretty happy with it overall. I magnetized the main gun and still need to paint the other two options. This means I have my entire 1k army painted up now! Just in time for point changes to drop on Wednesday, hopefully they don't mess me up too bad.
Terminator Squad
Hopefully this fresh coat of paint might help these guys actually succeed on a charge roll for once.
Judiciar
Got my judiciar ready, I played my first game last week and I'm hooked. Does anybody know if I can use the named characters from the onslaught box in game? Pretty sure he's just a regular judiciar with a little tweak but it would put me at exactly 1k points and it would fit the lore aspect which is cool.
About a year ago I decided I wanted to branch out and read some genres I hadn't been exposed to very much, I started reading King's books in order. I loved Carrie, thought Salem's lot was pretty good, and the Shining was amazing. It was wayyyy better than the movie ( and I still think the movie is pretty good ). In the Movie Jack just kinda goes insane for no reason, in the book it is explored much more than that. There's a particular scene where Jack is in the shed with the snowmobile and he realizes exactly what is going on, in perfect clarity he recognizes that the hotel is using him to get to his son and he tries to fight that urge but of course he ultimately sabotages the snow mobile and ensures they stay trapped at the hotel. Also the hotel explodes at the end which I did not expect, I remember watching doctor sleep when it came out and they end up back at the Overlook at the end so I'm interested to see if the hotel returns in the book Doctor Sleep or if that was just in the film. Super excited for The Stand next, I remember really liking the mini series.
2020 hyundai veloster N. Been noticing sounds when going over bumps so I wanted to test my ball joints. They seem to be fine from what I can tell but the wheel makes clicking noises when spinning. 66k miles.
