I need IW to confirm Classic mode before I pre-order

I'm not interested in a movement-heavy game. Classic mode has become a must-have for me, and I'm waiting for an official statement from them before I decide to pre-order.

Black Ops Classic is something that should've been there on day one

I couldn't even make it through a single match of BO7 before, and now I'm already on my seventh match in a row. It's crazy how the awful movement was ruining the game. The absolute bare minimum is for MW4 to launch with Classic mode.

Edit: This sub is full of hardcore BO7 fans who love its movement, but there's no need to be toxic toward casual players who are just praising Classic mode. It's really not necessary.

Coloquei nota 1 no questionário do Enamed "você recomendaria medicina pra alguém"

What do you think about multiplayer having two mastery camos?

  • One that allows progress in Shipment 24/7 and any other tiny map 24/7 playlists.
  • One that can only be earned by playing the standard Core 6v6 maps.

That way, people who enjoy tiny-map playlists can still grind their camos, while players who earn the Core 6v6 mastery camo would get a more prestigious reward that requires overcoming a greater challenge. It would essentially be a "hardcore" version of the mastery camo and would better recognize the effort required to unlock it.

Am I the only one who's only excited for GTA 6's single-player and has zero interest in the online mode?

The online experience will probably be built around selling in-game currency, and I just don't have the time or patience for that anymore. The worst part is that Rockstar always includes difficult online achievements, but I don't really care anymore. I'll just stick to the single-player, and that's perfectly fine with me.

Unpopular opinion? COD needs to abandon tiny map 24/7 playlists

According to YouTuber The One Boom, MW4 will launch with a Transit 24/7 playlist (the new Shipment equivalent), and even before Season 1, the game will also get Shipment and Shoot House added to that tiny map rotation.

Seriously, what's the point of spending four years developing a game and promising major changes if it all ends up being reduced to tiny map playlists so people can grind yet another meaningless camo? The Shipment crowd needs to learn how to play the actual game instead of treating these maps like an addiction. They're spending $70 every year just to sit in a tiny box shooting people who spawn right in front of them. It's absurd. And what's even more frustrating is that Infinity Ward and other developers keep encouraging this type of player behavior.

"Just don't play it" isn't really a complete answer. If 30% of the player base is concentrated in those playlists, it affects the health of the rest of the game through weapon balancing decisions, challenge design that becomes unreasonable for people playing core 6v6, and fewer players available for other modes.

"But people would quit if tiny map 24/7 disappeared." Then let them. COD has spent years chasing movement-focused players and pushed away millions of casual fans in the process. Maybe it's time to stop designing around another extreme as well and refocus on the broader multiplayer experience instead of catering to players who only ever want Shipment 24/7.

IMO Microsoft's biggest mistake was pulling its consoles out of most countries.

The strategy seemed perfect: people buy an Xbox Series S and, a few years later, upgrade to an Xbox Series X. I was one of those people. But since 2024, the Series X has basically disappeared from official retailers in South America. It's no longer possible to buy one at a competitive price, only at prices far above the PS5.

Fewer consoles sold is directly tied to fewer Game Pass subscribers and a plateau in subscriber growth. I genuinely can't understand how Phil Spencer and Sarah thought it was a good idea to scale back their presence in so many markets while focusing almost exclusively on places like the US and UK.

Seasons need to bring genuinely new experiences, not more of the same.

Look at COD's competitor. After receiving a lot of criticism, they brought back large-scale maps in Season 2, and Season 3 is introducing naval combat. The game is evolving and expanding its identity.

Meanwhile, COD seasons often boil down to 5–6 "new" maps with layouts that already exist in the game. They don't really add anything meaningful, and people who are already burned out will stay burned out. On top of that, there's the constant flood of new camos, as if that hasn't been oversaturated for the last two years.

At some point, seasonal content should be about refreshing the experience, not just increasing the amount of content on paper. Otherwise, quantity ends up replacing innovation.
