Are there any games where you can play as a little girl just experiencing childhood?

I'm 20 now and I feel like I never got to have a childhood (for many reasons, most of them trauma), and to cope, I want to play a game like an RPG or adventure game or something where you just get to be a kid, to sort of fill in that hole in my soul a little bit and give me a bit of that experience, even if it's synthetic. I've been rewatching Ghibli movies recently, like Totoro, Ponyo, and Kiki's delivery service, and those do help in this way, so I'm wondering if there are any video games that could achieve the same?

Doesn't have to be ultra realistic, fantasy is fine, but I'd like it to at least be sort of grounded in reality if that makes sense. I just need it to be immersive, so like third or first person view is ideal. also a character customizer so i can make a self-insert would be good. Appreciate any suggestions<3

EDIT: basically if Natsu-mon: 20th Century Summer Kid had a girl as the protagonist, it would be PERFECT. that's the kinda game i'm looking for i think :>

Is there a mod (or some other way) to balance the sound effect volume levels?

Started playing ER recently and I really love it! But I constantly find myself bothered by how quiet all the atmospheric sounds are, and how insanely loud all the combat sounds are. I keep wanting to turn my volume up when I'm just exploring to really be immersed in the environment and atmosphere by the sounds of nature, rain, grass, wind, footsteps, animals, etc. But then I get my eardrums blown out by fighting 1 single enemy. Even rolling is loud. Can I balance this somehow?

Which is a better first AC experience between City Folk and Wild World?

Heya, I recently got the urge to get into Animal Crossing and I wanted to play New Leaf but I don't have a 3ds, so I'm considering trying either Wild World or City Folk instead. Which would you recommend for someone who knows a bit about the series but has never tried it? And what are the pros and cons of each game?

How safe is Poland for trans travellers?

I'm visiting Poland (Gdańsk and Kościerzyna) and I'm just wondering if I should remove my big and very obvious trans flag sticker that I have on my bag. If there's any risk at all of being hate crimed or harassed, I don't wanna keep it. I pass pretty well so I'm a bit worried about outing myself with the sticker. I'm from Scandinavia btw, so the bar is high...

Domperidone for breast development? And when?

So supposedly, domperidone helps with breast development by inducing lactation and also helping you move from tanner stage IV to tanner V. What information or experience do y'all have in regards to this? And, assuming it works, at what point would it be optimal to start domperidone for this effect?

I'm 2 years and 3 months on HRT, and I'm like 99% certain I'm currently at tanner stage IV. I've also been on prog (100mg) for just under a year now. My breasts also haven't really grown in a long time. So I was looking into trying domperidone for 1-3 months to potentially complete my breast development. But I read that starting it too early can also stunt breast development, and I'm not sure if now would be too early. Tanner V seems to usually to take more than 2 years to reach naturally, and while my boobs havent really gotten bigger since like 10 months in, they still are sore, so would it be best to wait until they aren't anymore?

Any information is greatly appreciated!

Do women actually have proportionally longer legs?

I've been curious about this because I always had the impression that women tend to have proportionally longer legs and shorter torsos compared to men, and a lot of sources online seem to back this up, but there also seem to be a quite a few sources that say the opposite. I have pretty long legs and a fairly short torso while most men in my life seem to have longer torsos. Is there a common consensus on this topic? Is it maybe different when youre tall? What are y'all's experiences with this?

Can I flip the panning of a delay device?

I have a delay set to "ping pong" that currently goes left, right, left, right. But I wanna flip it around so it starts with right, then left, then right, etc. Is there an easy way to do this?

What do the "input channel" settings "½, 1, 2" actually mean?

i don't really understand what the different options "½,1, 2" do under "input channel" on an audio track. i feel like my recordings sound a tiny bit better on "½" but crackle less on "1". can anyone explain in simple terms to someone who knows very little about recording sound?

Drfiter's passive doesn't work if you have Alloyed Collective disabled

come on honestly, this dlc has been out for 8 months and this hasnt been fixed?? i haven't played a lot of drifter since she was added tbh, but these days i always play with ac off because the enemies are terrible, and it took me not even 2 stages of a single run to notice. the whole damn gimmick of the character just doesnt work if you disable the dlc shes from, and nobody talks about it? there isn't even a mod that fixes this either...

What determines how big/small everything appears?

Oki I don't know if this is the absolutely correct place to ask this, but I've been wondering for a while and I couldn't figure it out by searching. So when we're small, everything around us appears quite big, and as we grow up, things gradually seem to get smaller until it plateaus and now everything stays at the same perceived size. But it's not because we get taller, as I always kinda subconsciously thought, because if you crouch down, or even lie down on the floor, things don't suddenly appear larger, you're just viewing them from a lower perspective. And yet, if I suddenly magically shrunk to a 10th of my size, Alice in Wonderland style, I'm convinced everything would look larger, right? I mean, I assume flies or ants don't have the same size perception as us either, do they (although they also surely have completely different optical systems and such but you get what I mean)? So what causes this phenomenon? Is it size of the eye/retina? Or perhaps distance between the eyes or something? Or something completely different? I'm really curious about this, I hope someone here knows!!
