I remember having early arcade machines (Silent Scope) but now researching on this I wanted to see if it worth it not as a collector but to also experiment in some games (I have few mind)
Basically I want to recreate what a CRT would feel but also make sure 2D games still have their 2D effect at all times (like with Sonic games) and also because I need to make it easier to adjust for future use for my Saturn.
Any suggestions or advices one might give? (I did play around setting but I don't wanna accidentally do something wrong)
I played the "Calling" on the WiiU because I didn't have my Wii working but I feel I am missing something, like unlockables and collectibles and such. What am I excatly going to miss in this title? (I know there are these key frame for the phone but only found 5 so far)

My friend and I got a horror game for a Wii (Calling) but we only had a WiiU to play it on, my knowledge tells me that Wii games outputs at 480p and looking tells that is somewhat true, is there anything I should be looking out for? (We are not playing on a 55" TV more like 32" but feels slightly bigger)
I managed to get a PVM (20-inch) that comes with BNC RGB in the back, already tested and it's working, but I currently only have component and composite cables for the Super Station (sadly my PVM doesn't have VGA which would have made this easy)
Any suggestions? Maybe a SCART converter to BNC and just daisy chaining?

RAM: 128GB(32GBx4) Corsair Vengeance 3600mhz
Cooler: Thermalright Royal Pretor 130 Ultra
I don't think I need to place GPU specs or anything but so far the cooler is doing it's best until I push it too hard I guess, I did try to see changing the curve and my case does have intake fans next to it but it didn't do much (only around -3C° after installing the fans) currently there's no air flow problem so what I am looking for is to undervolt the CPU but not too much as I still need to use it for its job
(Before anyone ask I had two choices, either an B760 ITX or this mobo and my case will look weird and out of place with the ITX)
So I do feel a little burned out from playing slow and on a keyboard and while the experience can be fun it also takes a lot of time especially when you just wanna play normally (hint: just wanna go a bit casual with a controller but not too casual with in difficulty)
I do wanna try really big mod pack like Bruma and Vigilant or return of the Gray cowl but even those couldn't get past certain things without cheesing or trying tactics on some enemies.
I played Librum and Wildlander (in my opinion though both are though and annoying without some guide and proper build) I did try living skyrim before but I don't think its my kind of modpack, I did enjoy it but i was hoping for something different, any suggestions for something that isn't souls-like but feels slightly better or could even pass for vanilla modlist? (I do like magic research from apocalypse mod and the museum)
So I have a MSI Pro B760-P that on the back clearly says (2xPCIe x16 Slot) and I know that B760 chipset has 14 lane to give (10 for Gen4), and when dug deeper it says that the second slot is in x4 speed eventhough there should be enough lanes for x8.
From my understanding is that x4 will be given to second M.2 but If i am not going to use it will I be able to claim it and run that lane as x8?
To clarify I am talking about the second slot not the first which is powered by CPU lanes
Currently i have a NAS storage and I am adding two more drives to it but I realized it's gonna be a bad idea to just copy and paste stuff from my old PC (it has 8TB and I wanna reuse that old pup for something else)
My main NAS is SATA not SAS and quite big in storage but heavy (kinda given when you shove 10 HDD into it) my idea to plug it and use Clonezilla to direct copy all the data in the 8TB and then see what else I can do with it. I don't have much of an experience with Clonezilla, for starts what can I do to just copy without creating an iso file?
Please read the title first before assuming I bought anything, I have plans yes but these plans involves building an arcade cabinet, I didn't want to use CRT because well its heavy and probably more expensive to get the bigger ones for better view (32-inch), so IR light gun makes sense but I have no experience with them.
I did look into some IR light gun like the Sinden Light Gun but that one is too pricey for me and even if I can afford it they don't ship to where I live unfortunately, so I'll look for an alternative one later, is there something I should be aware of about IR system? Like accuracy, calibration or game compatibility for example? Because right now I am only designing the cabinet by hand using cardboard cutout and drawing (more efficient and accurate)
I bought a PS2 fat that supposedly was cleaned and unmodified but it had a modchip (you can guess how i found out)
Currently i have no replacement yet but I have freemcboot and an internal hdd, so is there a safe way to remove it? I do have soldering kit but I only used it for replacing OG Xbox capacitor, my guess the chip would an Aladdin since it is common one
I am kinda stuck on this one, I found two CRT but this one was in a good shape but all I find about is that it has a VGA port and component but no mention of Dual SCART in the back, the seller put a price on it because of that.
So does anyone know anything? Like progressive scan support for VGA maybe or SCART?
I bought several dreamcast booster to finish my collection and gave the rest to my friend but here's something I noticed, one foil card had this stamp number on the left but didn't belong to the collection, looks slightly metallic, and when I showed to my friend he also found one in the cards that I gave him which had the Jet Set Radio with a number on it, the card was regular and not special but the stamp felt odd as it was an exact placement to where the previous one had and compared them side by side.
Not sure if its special or has any meaning but I decided to keep it because I didn't how rare it was to find two card with a stamp on the side, any thought?
I was in the market yesterday and found some stuff and did a post but awaiting mods approval, does a Pentium D count as a part retrobattlestation? I found ton of Dell PC with it that I could refurb with GT730 GPU but would it count though? (I do wanna relive playing FEAR on older hardware)
I know how horrible of a choice for PS2 compatibility really but I don't have any (no really i don't, someone stole my fat model) and now I got a question, is it possible to load a PS2 game and play it? And what would be the expected performance since I am seeing some weird offers coming my way and I am dropping them for shady they can be and my spidey senses are telling me to dodge it even though the offer seems good just for the PS3 games
I found a seller in my area have a E72 brand new in a box and also an N95 (which i plan on buying) however I had been hesitant about buying E72 since it always reminded me of the Blackberry Bold models (not that i hate QWERTY) but is there a reason to say no to a brand new E72 and at a good price? (We are talking below 240$ with a box and unsealed tape wrap on the screen and cover)
