Asking as the Google results for this seem to be few and far between. I know the screw size is M4 but I’m not sure about the length. It sounds like the left screw can be longer but the extractor screw needs to be shorter to not cause return to battery issues? Does anyone know the length for the extractor side screw? I put in a 9mm one and it seems like it only gets a few turns. The other longer screw also goes in with more turns but I’m leery given what I’ve read.

Can anyone recommend any holsters that do not require a WML? I’m considering using this for some competitions and have no need for a light. I see some recommendations on this sub and I’ve looked around online but am really struggling to find anything that does not require a light. I’m not opposed to putting one on but just don’t really need it.

I got this message today as a sender and my package was rescheduled. Does this mean the business I am sending it to is closed or does it mean UPS is? My understanding was that UPS delivers today.

I have consolidated student loans. When I am playing around with the loan simulator, it’s showing me the consolidated standard payment is lower than my PAYE Payment but it also seems to be for a term over 10 years. Looks like 20. My understanding is the PFH is based on the standard 10 year repayment amount, correct? If so how do I actually find out what that amount is? It doesn’t seem to be an option for me, only the consolidated one. Doing back of the napkin math without interest it appears my balance over 10 years would be higher so I think I’m good but would like confirmation I’m understanding this correctly. Thank you all!

I have two more years of payments before my loans are forgiven from PSLF. It looks like my lowest payment plan is on PAYE but my understanding is I would not qualify for PAYE since my PAYE payment is higher than standard 10 year plan. Is that correct?

Dumbish question but I’ll do my best to explain it. I know there are Shadow Compact and Carry variants. But there is another pistol I see people mentioning a lot that is similar to the Shadow and they say it’s a stripped down version but they recommend it. Is it the P01?

Has anyone had any experience with CA for cerakote? I want to have one of my suppressors colored to FDE. I ordered their service to try it out but there was nowhere to pick the color so I’m curious when exactly I do that. Do they send an email out to pick a color at some point?

My LGS was having a Shadow Systems day and my instructor recommended their guns as he uses one for USPSA. I ended up settling on the MR920P as I like the Glock 19 size firearms and was interested in getting one with a comp as well.

I really like the look of the gun! I got the one with the bronze barrel and it looks pretty sweet. When I held it the initial thoughts were it felt really lightweight so I was a bit worried about its ability to handle recoil.

I took my dad shooting yesterday and had him sample a host of my guns (Rival S, Kimber 2k11, AR15) and we also tried this for the first time. I only put a 100 rounds through it since we were going through many guns but it felt great! The return to the dot after each shot was fantastic and there weren’t any issues with 115g Blazer. I’m planning on taking it out next weekend and doing some more but I really like this gun so far!

I messed mine up and the damage is purely cosmetic but since it’s a range toy I like it to look sexy. Do they offer a refinish if you pay for it? I don’t expect it for free but would happily pay.

I am looking for something with the AKM pattern and that is safe and reliable. I initially made an ill informed purchase and got a BFT47 which everyone tells me sucks ass. I am looking to replace it with something else and the WASR 10 and ZPAP M70 keep coming up, but I see the M70 isnt the AKM pattern and I value that. Would the WASR 10 be a good purchase? Is it safe and reliable?

I am in SAVE forbearance. Yesterday, based on MOHELA my next "payment" is 6/23. Today is updated to 7/23. June is the last qualifying month I needed to wait for to submit a 2 year buyback request. Do I need to wait until the date shows up in studentaid.gov under payment history or would I be safe to certify my employment now and then submit the buyback form?

I am also planning to enter repayment later this year while I wait for the buyback request. If by some chance June got skipped in their count but I made payments in the interim, would they still process the buyback request?

I saw a post a week or two ago where someone said their buyback amount was based on SAVE but I thought it was supposed to be PAYE or one of the other “legal” plans.

I have a 2015 Sportage and my engine was one that was consuming oil too quickly and I had to get it replaced. I believe they replaced it with a “rebuilt” engine which I assume is a previously used one. My car is currently at 96k miles. I probably drive 1k a month as I primarily work from home now. This is my first car so I’m curious how long I could reasonably expect this to last. What preventive maintenance should I be doing at this point other than oil changes and tires/brakes to extend the life of the car. I’m happy to get a new car eventually but really enjoy no car payment and I’m happy with my car overall at this point so don’t feel an overwhelming urge to get a new one until I absolutely have to.

So obviously I’m an idiot and wasn’t paying attention so this is my mistake. I bought a 2k11 Pro Comp and attached the CH Plate as instructed. The screws they provided seemed awfully tight to mount to the slide but I got it on. Anyhow I went to mount the 507c using the screws that came with the plate. I think I picked the longer ones and ended up bending the plate because I was half paying attention. Since the plate is ruined and I see people weren’t happy with this plate anyhow, I ended up ordering a Tag precision plate. When the plate arrives, should I use the shorter or longer 6-32 screws to mount it? I just want to make sure I don’t make the same mistake again.

I’ve been taking handgun classes for a year and a half and feel like I would like to take the next step and do some competitions to challenge myself. I’m kind of confused how to even get involved in USPSA. Can anyone recommend how I find places near me to get started?
