Login issues?

Are there any other Cloudways users experiencing login issues at the moment? I’m unable to log in using either SSO or email. When I try, I see a huge list of “Unfortunately, operation failed due to unexpected error.” messages on the right side of my screen.

Eventually, I get the following screen:

User Error Case
Something Went Wrong
It looks like something went wrong, so we’re ending your session to help keep your account secure. You’ll be logged out in 8 seconds; please log in again after a short while to continue.

I’ve been trying for about 4 hours now, but unfortunately without any success.

How do you make wars in a mafia PBBG strategic without forcing players to use external tools?

Hey everyone,

I’ve posted here before about Pentito, our browser-based mafia PBBG. I wanted to start more of a design discussion around something we’ve been thinking about a lot: war coordination in mafia/crime PBBGs.

In my own browser RPG experience before Pentito, I often saw serious players and families end up building their own external tools just to manage wars properly. That could mean spreadsheets, API-based systems, shared target lists, private notes, or even complete external websites for war planning, target management, shooter assignments and family coordination.

On one hand, that kind of community effort is impressive. It shows that players are invested enough to organize themselves seriously. But on the other hand, it also raises a design question: if players need external tools to properly understand, plan and execute wars, is that a sign that the game itself should provide better systems?

That is something we’re currently experimenting with in Pentito through an in-game War Room. The idea is not to automate wars or make them safe. Wars in a mafia game should still feel tense, risky and dangerous. The question is whether basic war coordination can live inside the game instead of being handled through spreadsheets, Discord setups or external sites.

The hard part is finding the balance. Too little structure makes external tools almost necessary, but too much structure can make wars feel too controlled and less player-driven.

I’m curious how other PBBG players and developers look at this: how much war coordination should a game provide internally before it starts taking away from the chaos, risk and player-driven strategy that make wars exciting?

I’m mostly interested in the design discussion here, so feedback is very welcome!

Pentito: a free text-based mafia browser RPG set in 1930s New York

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share Pentito, a free-to-play mafia browser RPG that can be played directly in your browser without downloading anything.

It’s a text-based strategy/RPG game set in a fictional 1930s New York-style city. You start as a small-time criminal and work your way up by committing crimes, earning money, improving your character, joining a family, and taking part in city-wide power struggles.

It is free to start playing, and you can play from desktop, mobile browser or iOS/Android app.

Game: https://pentito.game/

I know this type of game is more niche than most modern free games, but if you enjoy old-school browser games, mafia RPGs, or community-driven strategy games, you might like it.

Would love to hear what you think.

Would love some honest design feedback on my agency website (backend developer trying to do frontend)

Hi everyone,

I'd really appreciate some honest feedback on my company's website: https://getstuffdone.nl

I'm primarily a PHP/backend developer. Most of my work is building custom applications, APIs, WordPress development and business systems. Frontend design has never really been my specialty, so I know there are probably quite a few things that could be improved.

One thing I've always struggled with is the visual side of agency websites. I don't really want to put myself on the website, I prefer not to photograph our office, and almost all of our client work consists of business dashboards, internal tools and API integrations. Those aren't exactly the kind of flashy portfolio pieces that make a website look exciting. At the same time, I'd really like to avoid filling the site with AI-generated images or generic stock photos. Personally, both feel a bit inauthentic for a company like ours.

Because of that, I often end up with pages that feel a little empty. I feel there's a lot of room for visual improvement, but I'm struggling to figure out what should actually fill that space while still feeling genuine.

Please don't hold back! I would much rather hear honest criticism than polite compliments. I'm genuinely trying to improve my frontend/design skills, so even small observations are incredibly valuable.

Thanks in advance!

It's Been One Year Since We Launched Pentito Alpha on r/PBBG

One year ago, we officially launched the Pentito Alpha right here on r/PBBG. Today, we're excited to share that a brand new round of Pentito started last week!

Over the past year, we've continued to develop and improve the game with every round, introducing new mechanics, balancing changes, QoL improvements, and entirely new systems. What started as an alpha project has evolved significantly thanks to player feedback and countless updates.

One of our biggest goals has always been to ensure that every round feels fresh and worth returning to. As a result, we continue to make meaningful changes between rounds rather than simply resetting the game. For those unfamiliar with Pentito: it's a browser-based persistent mafia strategy game focused on crime, economy, family cooperation, territory control, and long-term progression.

Whether you played during the original alpha launch, joined somewhere along the way, or are discovering Pentito for the first time, we'd love to have you check out the newest round.

Frequent Chromium Crashes (STATUS_*) Anyone Else Experiencing This?

For the past 2–3 weeks, I've been experiencing constant crashes in both Brave Browser and Google Chrome. The error messages vary, but they are always one of the following: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION, STATUS_BREAKPOINT, STATUS_STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN

The crashes happen in both Brave and Chrome, regardless of whether I'm logged into the browser or not.

I've already tried a lot of troubleshooting steps, including: Updating all drivers Installing the latest Windows updates Removing antivirus software Removing all browser plugins/extensions Reinstalling Windows while keeping data Performing a completely clean Windows reinstall without keeping data Resetting BIOS settings to default

Unfortunately, none of these steps solved the issue. The crashes still occur regularly.

What I've noticed is that the crashes mostly happen on websites with: Infinite scrolling/infinite loading Large or very long pages Video playback (especially YouTube)

Examples of websites where it happens frequently include YouTube, ChatGPT and Booking.com.

I also ran a full hardware diagnostic scan using the built-in startup diagnostics on my laptop, and according to the scan, all hardware is functioning properly.

Hardware specs: Intel i9-14900HX 32GB RAM RTX 4060

Laptop model: Lenovo ThinkBook 16p G5 IRX (21N5001SMH)

Is anyone else currently experiencing this? Or has anyone found a workaround or fix?
