I looked down in an old cardboard box and there it was. I asked my 78 year old grandpa about it. His response was “Oh yeah I remember those. They really kept the crackers from going stale unlike the cardboard we have now.”

I’ve been looking for J toes in this color or similar for a while. I’ve found a couple pairs but this is the first pair I’ve found in my size. They look to be in pretty good shape.

He swam over where I cast and got tangled while my line was on the rod. It wrapped around his neck and one of his front legs. This is why it’s important to 1. throw your own broken/tangled line in the trash 2. pick up any stray line you find on the ground or in the water.

He fell into the drainage ditch and couldn’t get out is the only thing I can think of. What should I do with him? I’m not sure if he’s a pet or a stray. Should I leave him? Bury him?

They‘ve stood up to a lot.

Gonna clean them up. I love kitschy stuff like this.

I’ve only ever really posted pics of myself all gussied up. This is more what I would wear to go to Tractor Supply or the local Ma and Pa General store. Just my piddlin‘ around town clothes.
