So I’m gonna preface this saying I was introduced to Warhammer about 2 years ago with the DOW games and Astartes short film. When I started playing SM2 it always bothered me how slim the marines looked.

Now they are still bulky, but they seem less… square shaped ? I can see that GW tries to give the primaris a more “Tacticool” look than the firstborns, but they apparently didn’t change the proportions of the primaris, wich means they should retain that bulky aspect.

However, it’s not the case, for me at least. I think it’s a bit disappointing, as it lessens their “literal mobile tank” aspect, instead focusing on the “super soldier” side, ultimately stripping away their unique look.

What do yall think ?

Edit : I see a lot of ppl LOVING that character and what he represents, and I just had to say it because honestly for me he’s forgettable at best.

So while waiting for Dow 4 I’m replaying Dark Crusade as everyone’s favorite red Space marines. I just beat the Eldar stronghold and I noticed, at the ending screen, the mention of the Avatar of Khain, that you beat in the mission.

It says that once the avatar was beaten and turned into stone fragments, these fragments were kept by the blood ravens librarian for study. It then mentions that it would cause them “no little trouble” (wich I assume means a shit ton of trouble).

My question is : what happened to them ? To my knowledge it never was brought back again in Dow 2 and it’s chaos expansion (I didn’t really play SS and Retribution…). Did it just became a lost plot point for some obscure title who will never come out ? Or will it be important in DoW 4 ?

Please I’m going crazy over the fact that I can’t find anything about it.

I tried to install a few custom maps today, but i cant find the "data" folder in DXP2, DXP3 or even WH40K. All data named files are .sga, wich i have no idea what it means. I tried puttind=g the mapps in the mod file in roaming>AppData but nothing.

So recently ive got into a rabbit hole of TW3 mods, and one thing has been extremely bothering me : the headband mods.

In the books Geralt is described as having one to restrain his hair so they dont get in the way when he fights, and a lot of book-accurate modlists have a headband mod at some point.

HOWEVER, im deeply certain the ones who did these mods never wore a headband in theyre entire life, because placed as they are they would be useless, and just massively uncomfortable, and the fact that every single one of the headband mods do this mistake is just crazy imo.

P.S. : I dont intend to denigrate any modder or theyre work, im glad of having such a big modding library on that game and such awesome mods, i jus had to rant about it somewhere. Va fail : )

So as the title suggests, im starting a Geralt of Rivia Cosplay. Im trying to replicate his look in Manticore or "Classic" Armor from the Witcher 1.

I wanted to ask here if anybody new where i could find gambesons such as photo 3 for a good price, same as his swords. Im also planning to find clouted gauntlets and other accessories such as belts and pouches too so if anybody got some known adress let me know.

Over it i woud like to put a cape, like he has in the opening sequence of TW3, but im not sure if its really compatible with the swords.
