Will anyone else be attending any Alice Day activities this weekend?

I'm going to Oxford on Saturday and have a few activities/afternoon tea at an Alice hotel booked! The whole highstreet and lots of places have things going on for it.

Is it a worldwide thing that happens here and there or is it just for the birthplace?

[TOMT][Movie/Series] a scene where someone kicks up with both legs at the same time

I have this short clip in my head where there's a fight scene in a movie or a series, possibly British? Just something stupid. Could even be something like the mighty boosh.

Where someone (maybe something? Animal?) is in a fight and kicks one leg up in the air maybe kicking someone in the face, then the other? Then both?

That's what I think it is. That sequence is what happens, but it may not even be a fight? It's obviously impossible so it's something comedy related.

WEEKLY QUESTION: What would the Other Mother use to tempt you?

Coraline got her "perfect" parents.

What would your Other World be designed to look like to convince you to stay?

Has anyone tried throwing 6 darts?

Darts seem to just go better? I don't know if it's mental or what. But I've done it a few times and literally every dart is surrounding the T20. This was one go the other day with them in a random order as well.

Darts one was 20, two was 1 and three is hanging down.

But the next three? 180.

Not the first time I've done it either and hit a 180, but it was dart 1,3&4 so doesn't count at all.

I'm only a 45-50 AVG player so it's not like I'm throwing straight every throw.

Wonder if there's a mental aspect behind it? I mean definitely has to be.

What Merch do you wish they'd make?

For me id love more artwork. There isn't really much at all to print and frame! The only one I kind of like is the displate one but I find their pricey and wouldn't match all my other artworks.

What Merch would you love to see?

What scene would be hardest to adapt into live action?

Let's say they do a live action of Coraline, what are we thinking is going to be really difficult to do?

I would be intrigued to see the Other Father playing piano with the robot hands, that would be pretty cool but also quite crazy to film I feel.

What colour buttons would you have?

If you had to?

I know none of us would want ANY button eyes, but the needle is so sharp, you won't feel a thing!

Winmau to Bulls Board

Has anyone gone from a Winmau to a Bulls board?

I noticed the rear brackets are different and I've got a bulls coming soon. Is it much hassle getting the right height in the exact same location, with the holes already made for the Winmau board? Or do they not overlap/aren't too close together?

Or can you use the Winmau bracket with the bull board somehow?

Hi,

I'd love to mod this sub! It seems dormant and there's only one mod who may not be active based on the message I sent.

I'm a mod of another community and I'm very passionate about Corpse Bride as a movie so would like to get it going again

FYI I've had this Dual core for 11 months, thrown 80,000+ darts at it. Still going strong!

I can understand a cheeky triple core or even the 360 triple core for the design. But honestly the usual dart boards do the job. As the Blade X is showing, no one likes it, not even the pros. Save your money.

And if you're ever looking at boards, just know they are all pretty decent at the mid level.

And yes, I used all sorts of points on this. Nanos, diamonds, Japans, all sorts of horrible, nasty points.

Got all my favourites finally

Shot darts were last to buy. The Japans are my daily drivers at the moment.

Converted the shots to Caliburn points today and I'm done for a while until they all wear out of grip on the barrels.

What's your favourite theory?

One that you don't know for sure is true, but you absolutely love it.

Or maybe even one you just find fascinating, or obtuse! Maybe that's why you love it, because it's so "different"!

Mine has to be that the Other World isn’t a real place, it’s created with what Coraline wants and fears at that moment of her life.

Does anyone use Caliburn points and spigots?

I'm looking into repointing some shot darts and I see that you can get all darts to have Caliburns and there's some fancy points I like.

What are we measuring to know what spigot to get?

For example

There's a lot of sized but I'm not sure what to measure.

And of course it says you need a repointing tool, so I assume that's a normal one to whack out your current points and then the starter kit has something in it as well that puts these spigots in? Its annoying the starter kit doesn't allow you to customise what points you have with it!

Annoyingly I have the tightening key already as well so it's really just spigots and that little point driver I need.

Anyone played the video games?

I just had a thought and checked for Coraline games and there is some! On DS, PS2 and Wii.

I have a little retro handheld andi I'll be whacking the DS version on that ASAP but anyone actually played them?
