I think what people are sleeping on how hard Bernie-aligned volunteer groups are gonna push for Platner

Considering what they have done in NYC, Michigan, and Colorado, I fully see a mobilization happening. Maine reason it’s happened for Al-Sayed and not him is bc he has a competitive primary, while Platner cleared the field. Should really ramp up after Labor Day.

This might be a hot take, but there’s a very good chance the senate isn’t called for at least a week

It’s legit bc of the following:

Both Maine and Alaska seem like the most likely scenarios in each is that nobody gets a majority. RCV should take a little over a week and three weeks respectively.

Of course, we probably have an idea who is the likely winner within a few days though…

Here’s how it has been in the past:

2014: A few hours

2016: 4-5 hours

2018: 4-5 hours
