what’s wrong with this sub’s moderation?

for context some guy said that that shadow, tails, and knuckles were all outer to high outer and I just responded with son. I didn’t even say I disagreed I was more so making fun of the fact that he provided zero evidence to back up his claims? Yet I was blocked. This is simply disappointing behavior from a powerscaling subreddit. One of the biggest parts of powerscaling is that it’s entirely subjective and opinion based, but you choose to try and shut people up for having a different perspective. do better.

just read Superman: secret identity

this is one of, if not the best comic I’ve ever read. I love the way Clark is characterized in this and everything about it is so perfect. If you haven’t read it, I DEFINITELY recommend it. It’s so beautiful.

edit:sorry guys I lied. It’s not perfect. It has one big flaw. There’s ONLY 4 ISSUES NOOOOO

how strong is Batman?

so im gonna be going over how strong Batman is. This is him with zero preparation or any of his suits outside of the main one he utilizes, as some of his other suits can unironically get to outer. this will progressively get crazier but I’ll start at a more simple level. so first I gotta go over most capping him at “peak human”. He’s obviously above any human in our world as he can causally lift over 2 times more than the most weight any human has lifted irl. But the actual stories he’s in supports him far exceeding that level. He’s stated across hundreds of different media to have honed his skills to the peak of humanity but despite only being “peak human”, he can just endure tank shells point blank and come out fine, which is in the 10 to 15 kg ranges for tnt. That is enough energy to turn HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE INTO A RED MIST. he can beat 15 man bats at once which are just blatantly superhuman, and is acknowledged as superhuman in tons of different sources. Amanda Waller refers to him as a metahuman. Her whole thing is keeping tabs on all metahumans on the planet. so im gonna start going over his feats now. He survives a crash from space to earth in Batman #130 by Chip Zdarsky, which comes out to a few tons of tnt. This range is pretty consistent for Batman as in Batman/Superman #9 by Joshua Williamson, he’s able to survive an explosion from atomic skull which gets to 29 tons of tnt. And he only got a fractured bone from that. He also survives a explosion from the court of owls in Batman #3 by Scott Snyder, which was 169 tons. Moving on to some of the more crazy stuff, in Batgirl #44 by Dylan Horrocks, Batman is locked in a military base and it’s said that not even a cruise missile cpuld break the door. Bruce then proceeds to throw the man who said that statement through the door and he goes RIGHT THROUGH. like there was literally an entire hole in the door. Standard cruise missiles can produce 50 to 200 kilotons. In DC Special #28 by Bob Rozakis, Batman can also take hits from quakemaster and his quake gun which can unironically cause roughly magnitude 8 earthquakes, which would be 15 megatons, or straight up city level. Batman also tanked a city wiping explosion along with a few other justice league memembers. Which gets you 150 MEGATONS, which is mountain level. All of this is on the lower end of what he can do without including any chainscaling. I’ll probably make another post to talk about his higher ends, but I’ll go over his speed scaling later and edit this post.

[Other] Superman comics reading order?

so recently I’ve been reading the 2023 Superman run and I loved it, I love both before and after prime takes over as supes. But other than the Rebirth run, I really haven’t read any other Superman comics. Does anyone have a solid reading order for him? I’d really appreciate it.

Absolute King Shazam/Black Adam creates a dust storm on the moon, and also punches Absolute Superman through it I guess

Jimmy’s decisions are a lot more complex than people think.

I marked it a spoiler for anyone who might’ve not watched the episode yet. I honestly think that Jimmy’s actions are a lot more complex and reasonable than people give him credit for. He made what seemed to him as the most emotionally intelligent decision at the time as he was unsure if Kara liked him for the person he was, or because he was the only guy she knew that she wasn’t related to. Or he didn’t want to take advantage of her lack of relationship experience after being under Brainiac’s thumb damn near her whole life. But now, he’s realizing that just because she hadn’t experienced a relationship before doesn’t mean that what they felt for each other wasn’t real. He just wanted better for Kara, and he didn’t realize that he was pushing her away and hurting her by doing so. This is by far my favorite version of Jimmy but I also wanna punch him square in the jaw at the same time which directly leads into my second point. what I don’t like about his decisions this season is all the worms stuff, and him immediately starting to try and and date people after Kara takes his advice. It seems like it was supposed to come off as funny or comedic(which it is at times, but only because I found it funny that he’s dating exclusively Wonder Woman villains and they all want turn him into animals), but it just seemed petty, annoying, and out of character for him.

Did I cook?

edit: looking at some of the online discourse around the episode and them specifically, people really seem to think Jimmy is completely in the wrong which is…I don’t blame yall for being annoyed by his choices but to think that he didn’t have good intentions when he initially rejected Kara requires both a lack of reading comprehension.

hot take: I don’t want Vegeta to become the new G.O.D

I do think that him going down the path of destroyer with ultra ego and all that is fitting but I don’t actually want him to become a destroyer himself just like I don’t want Goku to become an angel attendant.. I just want them to live with their families after super ends and when they start reaching old age, have their final battle in space and pass away doing what they loved most. Basically I want the dragon ball online ending
