Does anyone else have social anxiety?

Just throwing this out there in case there's anyone out there in a similar position who wants to talk about it or just come up with ways to overcome it. That my main goal atm, not have it affect me anymore and completely overcome it

Question about objection handling

When do you know when to handle objections different ways?

For example if they say they're busy or don't have the time

So you either address it by proposing a scheduling/time solution vs using one of the usual time objection overcomes?

One seems more solution oriented, the other is "objection handling" oriented, so how do you differentiate when to use either ?

[task] Looking for a "business partner" to make some money on the side

I had some ideas as to making money here in a big American city so if you had ideas yourself that required access to American markets (IRL) and wanted to share, I can help on that side of things (with IRL/phone sales, marketing, operation, etc). We can split the profits. Making software, websites, etc or IRL services that require little upfront experience on my end.

Since posting here requires being exact about tasks, the task is ideating and discussing if you're interested and everything can be worked out later

Any other details if you're interested feel free to send a DM

Can OSINT help me find business leads?

Context is auto-insurance, homeowners, business and commercial. Are there any cues or signals to identify that would indicate someone might be looking to purchase a policy or maybe upset with their current agency, etc. doesn't have to be scalable or anything but OSINT fascinates me so though I could ask

How do you find reward in doing things?

No gimmicks or motivational tricks, they don't work on me.

I'm more so an obsessive person, and sometimes impulsive.

I'm the type to grind hours and hours playing videogames on monotonous tasks in order to level up a character or accrue resources (anyone else the same?), so I'm curious if there's a way to reframe my life to be see rewards in life the same way I do videogames.

I guess the difference is in videogames there's predictability of outcome, zero risk, stat bars you can perceive immediate rewards - levels as well, etc. but I feel like its more aligned with my thinking patterns. And with the essence of how behavior is motivated.

Has anyone resolved this?

How to be in the present moment when you have to analyze all the time?

I don't know how to explain this well, but for my work it requires me to be constantly writing things down and analyzing or being "in my head" all the time. I always feel better if I can sit down in the present moment for 30 minutes and meditate, but the effect wears off throughout the day.

I might be attached to the OCD type behavior and rumination, because it allowed me to grow in life, being obsessed about my insecurities and flaws and trying to constantly improve and fix them.

I realize now that mode of operating might not be sustainable, but idk any other way.

I know I have to detach from the outcome, but how do you do that while at the same time checking the outcome to see if what you're doing works? Seems like a paradox no?

You can manifest even when your emotions disagree

Just a tip for those dealing with fear or dread: for sure do what you can to assuage any arising fear; enter a state of gratitude; release emotions in the present moment, etc., but just know, you can maintain a firm belief that things are going to be okay and that there's a better outcome around the corner even if your body disagrees a little bit.

There have been many times where I felt such horrid dread about something, but because I immediately sat down to let the feelings be without resistance while SIMULTANEOUSLY believing that it's going to work out with my vision eventually materialized, I have been rewarded for it 100% of the time. You have be relentless and obsessed about not giving in, especially in the beginning because the mind doesn't have a whole lot of evidence to show for it.

This is also why I keep track of moments where things appeared hopeless but eventually turned around, so that when things appear "bad" again, I can always refer back to these moments (in other words stacks of evidence) and know that they are meaningless in the grand scheme of things as long as I keep a relentless faith in the long-term outcome. The more that you let go, the more you have faith, the more that you express gratitude, the more you engage with the present, etc, the less you actually have to rely manifestation "tricks" because your subconscious will automatically know that anything that happens to you is temporary and illusory, and that there's always going to be a treasure on the other side of a scary event. If you can get through it the first several times, the evidence in your brain will start to stack more and more, which means it gets more and more effortless, and your identity and beliefs will naturally start to shift.

Another quick note on not giving up: the biggest rewards will always be doing the things you know you have to do, but are too afraid to do.

tldr:

  1. You will manifest a better outcome if you have relentless faith, even if your body disagrees.
  2. Keep track of the moments things "went wrong", but eventually turned around, so you can remember them as evidence for the next time it happens.
  3. Let go of the "when" and the "how" and never give in
  4. What's the one big thing in your life you're afraid to do that will benefit you? Do that and you'll see the biggest improvements

How to detach from the outcome?

I'm just curious how to do this better? I can more or less meditate away a lot of the pain I feel when it arises by letting it go, and I've made incredible progress but eventually something happens where, what appears to be, a repressed feeling surfaces and then I get hit with a ton of bricks.

The pain point for me is never feeling loved, validated, etc, and especially romantically by certain people. Or missing out on life's fun.

I don't really hang out with anyone because I'm obsessed with work. I want to know how to love myself enough to not really need it from others. I have a lot of intrusive thoughts as well. Trying to "let them be" doesn't really work for me; they appear to be much deeper rooted things manifesting as intrusive thoughts and visions, and I want to work on that

How do I continue to condition myself to pleasing myself and not others? And not feel afraid when exposed to insults and verbal assaults?

Hypnosis has really been helping me lately, but I think there's a little bit more to the whole thing that helps.

For example, I remember practicing gratitude and writing things down I'm grateful for during the time I was feeling down had caused an immediate shift in my attitude. That's one thing.

Another is I also know that "meditating" in the form of letting go and recalling various experiences and replaying them in my head except from a headspace of only caring about how *I* benefited from the situation, how it serves *me*, etc. moved the needle even more. But I still feel that there's something missing - maybe feeling unsafe and in danger, as if my brain thinks I'm going to die? How would I fix this? what kind of session would work?

Secret places in the sleep in the city?

Whats the secret sauce when it comes to living in the city if you don't want to get stabbed or robbed by someone else?

How viable are rooftops? Or some low-traffic, low-key building where you can somewhat blend in or have an excuse to be in?

DSP Owners: What are your biggest problems / annoyances / grievances / expenses?

Or just anything that you would rather outsource some help for - such as hiring, managing, etc,

Also, if you don't answering as well, how does the scaling process look at a warehouse with your DSP? Do you have to apply to have more drivers, more demand, etc and expand inside the warehouse given the limited slots? Do you have to meet certain thresholds?

Any answer much appreciated

Are meta ads still a good choice?

Entirely new to marketing with Facebook, but some people as of recently with the Andromeda update are making it seem like it's becoming less of a viable option given unpredictability or other issues - which makes it second guess my initial strategy of going with Meta ads, but I don't imagine I'd get the same results anywhere else currently.

Should I still pursue this front or is there a fundamental shift in the advertising landscape with the new changes and AI that will make it not worth my time? Is it skill issue? Volume issue? Or something else that people are having issues..?

For context, I'm in auto-insurance. Majority of the presence for my leads are on FB/Meta

Some advice is much appreciated

How can I assign a location to the task?

For example if I want to filter out the tasks by their location or where i will have to complete them - how would I do that? I don't like the idea of adding it to the title or the contents since I wouldn't be able to easily see the location nor filter them about, but I'm entirely new to this program so far. So far it's really good, but just curious about this
