Cloud 3 wireless or Cloud Alpha Wireless.

In the market for a wireless headset, one thing that doesn’t matter at all is microphone quality as I use a desktop microphone.

The price for Cloud 3 wireless is £95 and the Alphas are £91.

Simply which is the better headset to get for this price ?

Would you pull sick leave on the last week of your job before you go on holiday and start new job after it?

I despise the people I work with and the organisation. People get special treatment and feels like I am treated differently.

Never experienced this anywhere else, long story short I hate my time here and am going to leave next month I just have to have my notice align with my new workplace to lose out on the least amount of money because of being on holiday.

Really struggling mentally and off to see a doctor on Friday about my mental health.

Would anyone here just take the week off and never return again ?

Ever joined a workplace and realised straight away this ain’t going to last ?

I got 10 days left in this shit hole, since day one 6 months ago I realised I made a mistake joining here.

Now I am counting down the days till my holiday and return to my old job on much improved salary compared to when I left.

My parting gift is that my 1 week notice will be handed in from the beach

How would you feel if an employer made you work alone but not from home?

Hi all,

I basically made a huge screwup joining my current employer. Previously always worked hybrid so joined this place 6 months ago with the same promise. However my current employer said I cannot work from home because of mistakes I make and am not perfect, so instead I sit in an empty office with no supervisor or anyone from my team as I cannot be trusted to work from home.

Honestly feel so demotivated as this has never been an issue before and feel like it’s a culture clash and I will never fit into this place.

Have you ever handed in your notice while on holiday ?

I hate my current place and my old work offered me my job back, I only have a week’s notice and about to go on a 2.5 weeks holiday.

According toy calculations to lose the least amount of money I should hand in my notice while I am on the beach and basically never come back to the office.

Has anyone handed in their notice while on the beach ?

Would you quit a job after 6 months to reduce your commute from 45 mins plus most days to 8 mins?

Been at my current workplace for just over 6 months however I did not anticipate how long the commute is most days, 40 mile round trip that takes from 30 mins to 1 hour most days.

I don’t hate the place and I job hopped a bit in the past. Now an opportunity has opened up in the town I live in and would mean my commute would be 8 mins and it’s really tempting me even though I just did 6 months at my current job. Only downside is there’s no hybrid working however I feel like the 8 min drive to go home on lunch and take the dog outside makes up for that

Buying a house with no central heating. Solars and heat pump the best way to go?

Know now much on this subject but buying a house that only has electric storage heaters.

At this point thinking instead putting a boiler down would it not be the optimal option to go with a heat pump and solar panels as need to replace all the radiators anyway.

What do I need to know before making the decision to go with a solar panel & heat pump option.

I assume this uses way less electricity than just getting solar and using the storage heaters ?

Freight Forwarder, 5 years of experience , looking for a career change

Been doing this for 5 years, got Air, Sea, imports and exports experience but I am so mentally drained by this role, especially at my new work place where every penny and file is scrutinised while we are massively understaffed

I also have a legal background and do customs clearances but really want a change of scenery as I realise I hate this job

Has anyone else here left freight forwarding successfully
