Impressive ability to pound a brewski on a changeover. We need drunken tennis on our TVs - why not?

Victorian Liberals want a weekly red bin collection. Is it a wheelie good idea or a load of rubbish? | Australia news
- Victorian Liberals are promising weekly red‑bin collections, rejecting the growing national shift toward fortnightly rubbish + weekly FOGO that waste experts say is best practice.
- Councils warn weekly red‑bin pickups would increase costs, trucks, and emissions, forcing cuts to other services unless funded — while research shows removing food waste leaves very little “gunky” rubbish behind.
- Critics say the policy is political theatre, distracting from bigger waste‑reduction reforms as Victoria rolls out its four‑bin system ahead of the 2027 deadline.

Financial question. About living in Swansea
Looking at moving family of 4 to swansea from overseas with 2 young school age kids. Looking to scale back work and our take home income might be around 2500 to 3000 pound. Fortunately we would have a paid off house so no mortgage. My question is do you think this would be fairly doable? We are pretty frugal people and enjoy mostly outdoor activities that don't cost to much.

First timer request
Hi all!
First time posting here, so my apologies if it's not the right place!
I'm wondering if anyone can clean this old photo up for a memorial. Ideally clearer, brighter and clean up the tone? (or whatever you think it needs) The focus needs to be the people, so the background is not overly critical.
Many thanks! 😄
