I just got these bad boys for work. Super comfortable out of the box. Thorogood 814-4188 tobacco color. The black sole is a huge plus for me, They don’t end up looking grimy after a while. Got them for $211 on sale. I couldnt pass them up.
I bought something on eBay as soon as I hit tge button to finalize the transaction, I got an eBay error message.
I checked my bank account & sure enough they took the exact amount, the item still lists as available & I’ve received no order confirmation. It’s only about $40 but I ain’t pooping money either so it sucks.
I’ve tried to get ahold of eBay through about 3 different phone numbers but they all end up saying it’s past their operating hours(tried multiple times between 10am-5pm pst)
Anyone have any experience with this happen to them?
I made a post a few hours ago about accidentally yanking the shower handle & cartridge out of the wall.
The face plate came off also but it has no screw holes. Seemed to just have caulking on some spots inside. I’m assuming this was just held in place with caulking?
My 15 year old might have super human strength. He somehow pulled the whole handle with the cartridge right off the piping.
I’ve reattached everything with a new cartridge but now for some reason, theres almost no water coming out even after having turned the water back on.
Any ideas?
I’ve been noticing my engine oil on my ‘24 Silverado with 5.3L tends to get a little low within about a month or two of changing. I believe full is to the top of the hash marks?
How low does this appear to be? It’s throwing me off cause it’s about the middle of the hash mark area then there’s a bit of oil above.
I changed the filter and fluid on my 10L80 yesterday but I just barely got around to checking the level right now.
I got the transmission up to temperature (180) and then crawled underneath the truck on level ground, opened the fill plug and It emptied out about 2 quarts before I got a small stream like you’re supposed to that indicates it at the right level.
When I did the filter/fluid swap yesterday I added about 9 quart bottles but I spilled about a good 1/2-1 quart & I was on an incline driveway(checked it right now on level garage floor)
Should I have drained 2 quarts before getting the accurate level?
I’m in the process of changing my fluid and filter on my 2024 Silverado 1500 with 5.3 L and 10L80 transmission.
I have already dropped the Y pipe on the exhaust. I’m now struggling with the fill and drain plug on the transmission. I believe it has thread locker on it from the factory.
I just snapped my ratchet Allen wrench bit and I don’t feel like snapping my L shaped Allen wrench next.
My question is- can I use a map torch bottle on that plug without worrying about damaging the aluminum transmission?

Finally done. I got a lot going on so it takes me way longer than it should to finish my kits.
Amt ‘64 Chevelle. Painted in a turquoise Laquer color from the now extinct model masters with some silver & purple graphics & topped off with testors enamel clear. Patterns are not perfect but not bad. I’m happy with them.
Shaved fender V’s & Chevelle emblem on fender. The wheels are Pegasus but I can’t recall where I got the spinner decals. I added a little detail in the form of lowrider magazines on the passenger seat.
Pics don’t do the color any justice. It really pops in person.
