Surprised to see Conan introducing a cyber security training

I got busted in a phishing test at work and had to take a mandatory cyber security training. Lo and behold, the training is introduced by Conan himself. If I get to see funny videos for these trainings maybe I'll fail more often. :)

Sunrun is the worst

My system has been switched off since about October/November when the panels were reinstalled after my roof was replaced.

They have been out a few times to repair the panels.

A few weeks ago I received an email about scheduling to have them come back out and complete repairs. I responded to that email and a follow-up email.

I just called since no one has responded to me and they informed me that the case manager closed the case since "I never got back to her."

This company is completely incompetent.

Is anyone else having problem accessing T Life Benefits today?

It's telling me, "Uh oh, your kid's number isn't eligible to redeem deals." I have an adult account and I am the primary account holder.

Can't link my Bluelink account after reset

I was having a problem setting up Connected Garage so I finally decided to try a reset. It was stuck in a loop telling me to reconfigure Bluelink.

Now I can't get my Bluelink account to link back to the user profile in the car.

The car tells me to link my account in the MyHundai app. When I try, I get an error, "User Profile Unavailable - Please turn on your vehicle to sync and enable your user profile settings."

When I tap on my name in the app I get the error, "There was an error processing your request. Please try again. [C500]"

The odd thing is that Bluelink is connected as I can remote start the car, see current status, etc.

I have a case with Bluelink customer service and I'm waiting for a call back.

In the meantime, does anyone know what I could do?

Thanks.

Connected Garage stuck in reconfiguration loop

I downloaded the June update to install by USB as I was tired of waiting for the OTA update. Connected Garage was not referenced in the update. Then I was surprised to see a new OTA update downloading that did include it.

But now when I try to access it, I get stuck in this loop. It says reconfiguration completes then prompts me for this again.

I tried resetting the system using the pinhole but it still persists.

Has anyone else run into this?

Calling Bluelink customer services hasn't gotten me anywhere.

Tour ticket tip

My son almost didn't get into the Coliseum.

His ID says Jacob but our travel agent had booked our tour as Jake.

Our guide said people don't use nicknames in Italy and they just don't get it.

Luckily the guy checking his ID let us go in.

The next time he needed to present an ID he pulled out his student ID that had Jake.

"Open in app" hardly ever works

In this example, I opened a Twitter link in an article. A pop-up suggests to open the link in the app. But all that happens is that it opens Google Play and never opens the post once I tap open.

Why is this broken?

IRS eservices help desk is saying I have a modified POA on file

I checked my tax pro account, and it shows I have authorization on file for my client, but the details says that it's a "modified" POA. The eservices help desk agent claims that in order to use TDS, I can't have anything in parts 4 or 5 of Form 2848. That makes absolutely no sense. I always have at least one box checked in 5a.

Did they screw up when they entered the POA into the CAF system?

Trying to decide on getting another epidural cortisone injection

I just saw my doctor for a follow-up. I got the epidural cortisone injection two weeks ago. My knee is sore, but nowhere near the pain I was having previously. And I've got an occasional sharp pain in my right lower butt.

The doctor said I could get another shot and he could possibly get me in next Tuesday.

I'm not sure if the level of discomfort is worth it. And he says that PT won't help with a herniated disc. I didn't know that's what I had, actually. They told me it was a pinched nerve (L1-2). Is that the same thing?

We're supposed to be going to Italy on June 16th and I want to be sure I can walk around.

Internet is frequently going out for a few seconds at a time

Every time I lose internet, I check my phone and it's gone from wifi to 5G.

How can I determine if this is my internet or my router? I have my own personal modem. Would a log potentially report small outages like this?

Thank you.

Internet keeps cutting out for a few seconds at a time

I can't tell if this is an ISP or a router issue. Are there any router logs that I can look at?

I have an RBR750 with two satellites. The system has worked reliably for several years.

Thank you.

I just noticed they finally corrected it

New York state ties online services accounts for professionals to an EFIN. They state that you must be an owner or officer of the firm. How does this work with large firms with multiple professionals?

Do they allow for separate user accounts beneath the administrator account? It's so inefficient to only allow one account. I keep calling and getting disconnected because their phone agents are all busy. It would be so much easier if I could access my client's accounts online

I'm a CPA. I've been sitting at a desk for about 10-12 hours a day for a few months. The date after the 4/15 deadline I took the day off. I started to feel lower back pain and a little knee pain. Went into work on Friday.

I could not stand up straight from a sitting position. At first, just to get some relief, I called and got a appointment at my primary care doctor's office for that afternoon.

She did some half-hearted testing of my knee reflexes, prescribed a muscle relaxer and gave me from back stretches.

But something changed Friday night. The pain had shifted from my lower back down into my right leg, mainly my knee.

On Saturday I went to urgent care since I knew they had an x-ray there. They didn't see anything on the x-ray and sent a prescription that was basically OTC Voltaren, which I already had. God knows why that never got filled - awaiting insurance approval. I didn't even need it.

The pain was not going away so on Monday morning, I woke up early and called my orthopedic office. Surprisingly, they had a 9am appointment.

At this point, I really thought it was my knee. So they set my appointment with a knee doc. They wanted their x-ray of the knee and saw nothing. Then he had me stand up and lean forward, then back. He said it is my back.

He prescribed a Methylprednisolone 4 Mg Dosepk. About halfway through, I was not getting any better. Reaching these doctors is impossible. I had to email the medical assistant and wait for responses. Finally, on Friday they agreed to write an order for an MRI.

Got the MRI on Saturday and on Monday I made an appointment for the back specialist in the same practice.

He said I have a pinched nerve between my L2 and L3. He wrote an order to get an epidural cortisone shot. He said someone would call me to schedule. No one called.

I finally got relentless today and kept calling, trying to get someone live on the phone. First, they say I need a consultation appointment this Wednesday and I can get the procedure on Friday.

Then I am told, no, I don't need the consultation as I am a referral from the other doctor in the practice. But he does these on Tuesdays now, not Fridays.

I was ineligible to get it tomorrow because I had taken ibuprofen in the past few days. I'm so pissed that I have to wait another week to hopefully get some relief.

Had they actually called me when they were supposed to I would have known to stop ibuprofen.

Sleeping at night is the worst. I got them to call in Tramadol to try to help the pain at night.

Sorry for the long post. Thank you for sticking around if you got this far.
