Combat patrol

So I mostly play space wolves and don't have a lot of generic sm units. I literally have 5 intercessors painted as CL and my question is. Is the new Combat Patrol coming with 11ed good point to start? I want to base my army on kitbashes fists and maybe templars (but idk about that as I don't need another heavy melee sm army). If not what sm combat patrol or different box would be the best start for mighty Celestial Lions Pride?
