I’m in US and I need this explained to me like I’m 5 yrs old. Lol. Before EIS started, I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of international shipping, so I didn’t allow it on my items. Then EIS started and I was opted-in. Everything has been fine, but I had someone message me and ask me to add their country (South Africa) so they could buy the item. I started searching the website trying to see if EIS excluded SA. I came across my shipping preferences page with all the regions I can exclude shipping to. It got me wondering, why would I exclude shipping to any international region if eBay doesn’t hold anything against you after the item reaches the domestic hub? Also, it mentions shipping with EIS AND international shipping where ship “directly”. I still do not want to ship internationally directly. How do I make sure that is not alllowed while still staying opted in to EIS?

i’ll preface this with I’m still new to combining shipping, but anyway…I’m in the US. I’ve shipped things to outside the country buyers through an international shipping facility located in Glendale heights Illinois before. It’s the address eBay provides. Someone bought some used parts for a dvd player (the faceplate and power board) and a few dvd‘s from me. I packaged them together in a cardboard box and shipped them. I usually use the eBay app on my phone to do everything, but I logged in on my pc to get to the page where you can combine shipping. The buyer received the two DVD’s repackaged in eBay branded bags (which I don’t use) and totally different labels than I use and the dvd player parts are no where to be found. What the hell? I’m going to contact eBay and see if then can figure this out when I get home from work, but I was wondering if this is nornal. Btw, neither my label nor anything had any info on what was in the box. The label looks like the same label I’d ship something to someone inside the US.

I know almost nothing about how automation. I installed a sylvania Osram Lightify under-counter led light strip and its included gateway hub (small white cube that plugs directly into wall outlet) like 15 yrs ago. I use their app to control the lights. I saw where they discontinued support for the system like 5 yrs ago and was told they would no longer work, but to this day, I still use the same little gateway hub to control the lights. Before I posted this question, I looked up the topic and still see people saying the gateway hub should not work. Anyone know why?

sorry if this is the wrong subreddit. One of the uniforms we wear at work includes a call out uniform that consists of cargo pants and a “tactical” short sleeve polo shirt. The brands I’ve tried (5.11, proper, LA gear) have all been too short to stay tucked in as you bend over, etc. Rather than trying a “tall” version of the shirt, which would likely have extra long short-sleeves that might look weird, has anyone actually found a “tactical“ short sleeve polo shirt (poly or poly blend suitable for field work and a plain front for embroidered ID, rank, etc) that is extra long for secure tucking? Thanks!

Trying to file a claim on an item damaged by usps in transit. I'm the seller. The online link on the usps site doesn't work.

My pill+ is connected to AC power via lightning connector and powered on and connected via Bluetooth to my iPhone 16 with latest iOS. If I click on settings and then Bluetooth, I see the pill is connected. If I click on the “i” next to it I just see the standard “device type” and “forget device” wording on most Bluetooth devices. I don’t see anything else. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

am I crazy or when listening to music from the music app and the screen is off/black(timed out), when you tapped the screen, you used see the time and your lock screen wallpaper? now i see the music app screen and the time is very small at the top. I wear glasses and have poor vision. I swear I used to be able to tap the screen and see the time with music playing.
