Disney really destroyed SW so bad that there's no hype anymore.
No spoilers here, just my thoughts.
So I watched the movie kanina lang and guess what dalawa lang kami sa Cinema. May Gen Z kids kaming nakasabayan pero umalis agad sila, I think before the 20min mark (thank god kasi maingay haha) so kami nalang ni kuya na nakaupo behind me.
Anyways, I think the movie was "safe", can be described with this 🫳 hand sign. Takot ulit mag risk si Disney (Acolytes *cough²🤢). The movie was cute and fun. There's a reason why kasama si Grugo sa title.
Can it be a series nalang? Yes.
Mas maganda ba yung series? Yes, yung S1 and S2.
Worth to watch sa Imax? Nope.
Sulit ba sa panourin sinehan? Kind of, it was a 2 hour movie naman.
Nakakamiss lang yung hype pag may bagong SW movie noon. Madaming nag dress up. May significant queues kahit Weekdays. May pa red carpet pa. Only for Palpatine to return lol. Let's see lang if mag improve ang attendance sa Weekend.
All I can say is that fck Disney for ruining this beautiful IP.
