Seasonal depression but it’s still 100° degrees out

I’m sorry in advance if this is a stupid post. I live in California and it’s currently still 100° out and very sunny (we haven’t hit 5pm sundown yet) but I’m already getting that pit feeling in my stomach. I’ve had it since the end of August when my courses resumed. I don’t know how to describe the feeling other than a pit, it’s like some sort of anxiety. It feels like the beginning of an ending in some way. I feel like this constant sad tension in my body. I don’t know. I’ve struggled with SAD for years but I feel like it’s setting on much earlier for me this year. Any advice on how to cope.

It’s irritating how everyone seems to be okay with AI lately

My first week back at college was last week and I can’t help but notice of the 3 classes I’m taking in person 2 of my professors have very complacent stances on ai. My intercultural communications professor straight up said she’s okay with using AI for brainstorming. And one of my art professors said that they used ai to write a story. I feel like I’m losing my mind because in college level arts & humanities classes is the absolute last place you’d hope ai would be encouraged. As an art major this is making me majorly depressed seeing how so much of our world is progressively relying on ai and how it’s being widely used more and more. I’m personally very aware of the environmental impact that it has and other ways AI harms people. It just feels ridiculous seeing even my professors being okay with this. I feel absolutely insane walking around being anti ai while everyone is either pro ai or neutral.

Has anyone else not been added to class canvas shells yet?

Ive only been added to one canvas class so far and this has me worried that something is wrong. Usually they add you to the class a few days before it starts but it’s getting closer and closer and still nothing. Anyone else?

[TOMT][TELEVISION][EARLY 2000s] Tv episode where young boy starts turning back into a baby

When I was a child I had this severe fear of turning back into a baby because one time when I was falling asleep with the TV on I saw an episode of some show where a kid was turning back into a baby. It scared the shit out of me to the point of crying when I saw my own baby clothes. Anyways, I’ve been trying to figure out what traumatized me as a child for years now lol. It was most likely aired on Nickelodeon, I thought for the longest time that it was Malcolm in the Middle but nothing comes up when I look MINTM. This memory occurred between 2005-2009. The boy looked similarly to Dewey.

How many days post op did you wait to have soft foods? (Soft pasta, scrambled eggs, soft fish, etc.)

I’m on day 3 and I’m absolutely miserable, I’m sick and tired of mashed potatoes and pudding. My food noise is so loud and nothing sounds better than a slice of greasy thick crust pizza. But I’m also deathly terrified of a dry socket. Anyways, how long until I can at the very least eat some soft Mac and cheese?

What is this weird pimple/wart like on my knee?? Appeared a few days ago

It’s not itchy, it’s not sore in any way. I think there used to be a bug bite there a few days ago but I don’t remember for sure.

How do I mail these?

Hello! This might be a dumb question but how do I go about addressing these for mailing? I got these letter sets while I was on a trip with the intent of writing letters to my friends but since the address thing is not standard to how you typically address envelopes im a little confused (mostly on the one that has the to and from already on it). I figure I probably should just ignore the setup on the envelope and do it the standard way?

What do I do if I slept at a friends place that has a mouse infestation?

Not sure if this is the right place but I’m visiting my friend in San Francisco and I stayed at her place for 2 nights. I knew she had a mouse (singular) that frequented but I didn’t realize how bad her mouse infestation was until I slept there for 2 nights. You could hear them run around at night and there were droppings in random places of her room, there was definitely more than just one mouse. Anyway now I’m paranoid that I’m going to have rat flu or something more sinister health wise because I stayed for two nights. I don’t think I have any bites, there is a small spot on my knee that I’m a bit worried about but it looks like a mosquito bite and it wasn’t bleeding or itchy. Any advice on how I can minimize my risk of dying from rat flu right now. Also I’m supposed to visit again in 2 weeks and I don’t have the heart to tell her that I don’t feel comfortable sleeping at her place again (I have somewhere I can stay for most nights but I need an arrangement for one of them). Anyone have any advice on this in general?

Is my owala worth replacing?

Hello! I got this owala almost 4 years ago and it’s since become my emotional support water bottle. But of course with time it’s gotten beat up, as shown. It doesn’t smell or taste weird and it holds ice all day. The only noticeable issue is that it’s not stable on a flat surface anymore and wobbles due to the denting. Anyway, I’m concerned that the denting and paint chipping might be harmful in ways that I can’t immediately notice (ex. lead). Is it worth it for me to replace it or is it fine to keep using?

Hatha Yoga Lv I class question

Hi! I want to take the intro yoga class just for fun and there's two courses available in the Fall, one with Heather Pecora and one with no instructor. The Tues/Thurs class with no instructor would fit my schedule better but my question is how does that work if there isn't a professor? Is that just something that will be updated later on or is there fr no instructor? If anyone knows lmk, even if you have taken other Kinesiology courses with no instructor any info would be great.
